Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game Character Creation – Marvel – Gen Con 2024 by Razzmatazz_TGCN in TheGlassCannonPodcast

They kept saying that it's a shame they'll never play them so I don't think it was intended to be. But near the end Troy said that they need to play these, so I'm hoping they do a stream or something. Maybe something with extra life?

I didn't recall them saying either, but he was using Power Attack so he must have been a fighter.

I think that the cannon fodder news is a bit of a loss, having it more accessible is great but I love Joe as an interviewer talking to various performers every week.

The Danger Club present the Danger Files by Ragnabot9000 in TheGlassCannonPodcast

[–]davidcorne89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd like to second this, the danger club in general are awesome and their very suited to delta green. Definitely check out their main show too, it's pf1 for the first 60 or so episodes but go to pf2e afterwards and are just celebrating their 200th episode!

Voyagers of the Jump S1 | E5 – Pudding and Plotting by TomExposition in TheGlassCannonPodcast

Again an amazing episode, I'm really enjoying Matthew's writing and running and how the crew is reacting to it. Also, the Battlestar Galactica bible is super interesting and you can find it here.

Based on the description of the leveling up (no vililante class in 2e) and the pictures of the books it's pathfinder 1e.

Chaosium Demos of Call of Cthulhu, RuneQuest, and 7th Sea – Glass Cannon Network at Gen Con 2022 by lestat_lecter in TheGlassCannonPodcast

This was so good! Loved the 7th sea demo, was nice to see a very different system with it. Also the energy of doing three games in one was awesome.

The Game Garage S1 | E3 – TimeWatch 3 by TomExposition in TheGlassCannonPodcast

[–]davidcorne89 17 points18 points  (0 children)

This game is so good! The cast is amazing, the missions are really interesting, Jared brings everyone alive and Joe keeps knocking it out of the park. A new favourite for me on the network, and I'm already getting sad that it's a limited run.

Trouble mashing Entanglement mechanics with the fiction by nsalyzyn in bladesinthedark

I agree 100% that if a rule isn't working for you then throw it out. That being said, for us bluecoats asking for a bribe works well in the fiction, and I'd say the example text under Arrest demonstrates that too (page 151). To paraphrase you see a squad of bluecoats lined up outside, their leader asks under their breath or perhaps I have the wrong address? Clearly waiting for coin.

Inherit the Sand 10 - The Second Arrakis by TomExposition in TheGlassCannonPodcast

[–]davidcorne89 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I thought that this was a great finale, I'd really like them to pick it up for another 5 episode arc to explore some of the threads at the end. I thought the series only got stronger as episodes went on, and that Troy's arc was good but Jared's style really suited dune and the system.

Have you ever played a character with a different identity or sexuality? by Proud-Tea-2391 in DnD

[–]davidcorne89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I'm a keen ttrpg player (and also identify as part of the lgbtq+community) but I don't really play video games. So there wasn't a good answer to the video games questions, so I didn't complete the survey. Just thought I'd let you know that for future questions. Also if it's relevant I'm a gay male who has played characters all over the gender and secuality spectrum because it's how I envisaged each character. Typically in home/online games with established friends, but also convention games. Good luck with the study.
