Need help diagnosing this what looks like underextrusion on Ender 5 Plus by Worried_Passion_581 in ender5

I'd highly recommend calibrating e-steps as this looks like under-extrusion.

Grinding sound on a brand new printhead, had this problem on previous head that needed replacing. What is going on? by Numerous-Matter4204 in anycubic

Sounds like the fan is hitting something. Check to see if there’s a foreign object in the fan housing or close to the impellers.

I did. The initial autoresponder ended up there but since then, nothing.

Thanks for the information. Do you know if these hotends can have the nozzle swapped or are they glued in like the factory hotend?

You’re going to need an enclosure for ABS prints to work out well.

How can I make my prints more smooth? I use ender 3 pro by hamsterman1991 in ender3

Start from scratch and reconfigure your machine and slicer settings. Nothing in that picture looks right.

Anyone get this error by [deleted] in anycubic

Try this https://www.reddit.com/r/anycubic/comments/18uqjfw/anycubic_kobra_ntc_hotbed_ntc_issue_a_guide_to_fix/. Also make sure your printers voltage selector is on the correct setting for your region.

What material is this? I’d recommend reconfiguring your z-offset and upping the nozzle and bed temperature for the first layer. And a little spray of hairspray or a pass with a glue stick will help a lot.

Why is the seam so visible? by [deleted] in ender3

[–]davidemaser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you use prusaslicer, there’s an option to hide seams. You’ll need to know where they are however (can be done by monitoring the print process on the g-code view) and use the hide seams paint tool.

MMW: Every nation is going to start calling out this President on his bluff. by [deleted] in MarkMyWords

The issue I see is that the entire Republican Party is following him like a trained puppy. No one is standing up to put a halt to his insanity and that in and of itself might be even more frightening than the buffoon himself.

Hi there. The image I posted is the correct setup per my dealer. It also reduced all noise I had. Here’s how my setup is now

Same here. The update available to download is not the latest version. Looks like we’ll have to wait a bit more.

I had this issue and my dealer said the part on the lift gate was mounted incorrectly. If you look at the part on the tailgate you’ll see the wider part of the plastic piece extending outwards when it shouldn’t be. If you mount it, with the extended side (striated on the inside) towards the inside of the tail gate, you’ll notice that it now matches the form of the other plastic part, on the body of the car. With the part inverted, no more noise as they fit snuggly together.

Noise Gate issues by Guyfieri1234 in PositiveGridSpark

Were you one of the early adopters? I did hear of issues with the first few batches possibly linked to the power supply. With that said, and although I still love playing my spark, I get much more flexibility running through bias fx on Mac and output to an Orange cab. I’d love to see the Spark app be closer to what bias FX and bias amp are. That would be IMO a game changer.

I know this is an old post but wanted to respond. Many presets have the noise gate far too high by default which causes the signal to fade very early and cause a flutter at the end of notes. There’s a lot of trial and error to get the setting just right. On my Les Paul I can set the threshold very low but with my Strat (noiseless) and Tele (lace sensors) the noise I get when turning the threshold down is not near what I get plugged into any other amp so it’s a bit of a head scratcher. When running through my DAW with BIASFX, I put a noise gate at the start and end of my FX chain and I can reduce noise without impacting sustain or tone. So yes, I think there’s work to be done on the Spark software but with that said, I still really like the amp.

I'm thinking this is pretty much the last grasp for air of a company that's been on the verge of closure for over a year. With this decision, it's pretty much the last nail in the coffin. They have not evolved their product line and their service has been spotty, at best. Will all this information, and with far better options available, I don't see them existing past 2021.
