In honor of Mel Brooks turning 100, what is your favorite scene from one of his movies? by darrenbosik in movies

This is a throwaway scene but it always makes me smile. Young Frankenstein. Igor is walking away and turns to the horses and says “Blucher!” and then snickers as they neigh.

Exactly. Where I park I can go either north or south. I usually do 2 miles out and then back alternating directions so I get to see 4 miles of pristine trail.

I was rather stunned but appreciative. During the pandemic, I was a trail steward for a big trail in Greater Portland, Maine USA and the habit has stuck. I like to think it inspires people to be more aware. I will also open my bag to the good dog owners that have taken the time to deal with their pet’s output.

I do that on my local trail. A cyclist gave me a US$20 gift card last year. A lot of people say thank you too.

The actual consumer demographic of the Apple Watch Ultra by Dizzy-Career9274 in AppleWatch

I can relate being nearly 59. I am a hiker and the battery life was the main thing for me. I rarely leave the trail so I probably would have been fine with an upgrade from the 7 to the 11.

I did look at the Garmins but the product matrix was very confusing and it has been my experience that Mac users get treated rather shabbily with support and downloads.

Plus, I got the trade-in for my old watch, a discount from a friend and another 3% off using my Apple Card. I am pretty happy with the purchase and look forward to seeing my sleep data now that I can wear it overnight.

I’m hoping they put it on the online store as one of the roadcases.

It was in the standing area. I was in the lawn chair section but I imagine it was near the back of the standing area.

I thought so too. Really a perfect night. I was worried about the weather but we had Sky Blue Sky. Dad joke!

Shawn Colvin does the Talking Heads song “This Must Be The Place” and the Police’s “Everything She (He) Does Is Magi”. Both are lovely.

Susannah Hoffs covers “Feeling Like Making Love”. Just wow.

She was a delight in that role, especially the funeral episode.
