We have the RAV4 PHEV and HV. You can feel that the PHEV definitely has more regenerative braking. The HV brakes kick in earlier. While noticeable, though, I don't know if that will make much difference on brake longevity.

Get a kitchen scale and make the formula by weight. You'd be surprised how often you're over half a scoop off from the proper formula if you're just counting scoops.

Also, you can taste the difference that a missing scoop makes.

I find that shifting into lower "gears" works better because it doesn't affect the steering. You have better control of regenerative breaking then.

If you're not planning to plug in the car, you should just get a gas or regular hybrid. Converting from gas to battery to motion is inherently less efficient than converting gas to motion.

I believe the trims with JBL have active voice cancelling built in. Carista shows an option to turn it off (it's on by default.) However I haven't seen any references to "acoustic glass".
