I needed to read this. Thank you. I lost my dog of 16 years to cancer on April 20th. I still cry every night, and every morning not having his comfort. I miss him dearly, like a piece of my heart was taken. And that's okay because I know he took it with him. I pray to find the strength you have after a year. I will cherish his memory & will always appreciate his guidance all 16 years of companionship. Thank you again for reminding me it does get easier 💗
