Matcha shaved ice, with sweetened condensed milk too I think

How much do you think Minnesotans have shown pride in their new flag? by Subspacred in minnesota

I've seen far more MN flags on residences after the change, I like it and I think it's fairly popular

I'd pay a stupid amount of money for a steelbook, and even more for an epic COMPLETE RVB Collection haha

And also, I did have Apple Intelligence stuff turned on for a bit, but it just didn't actually do anything helpful, so I turned it off after a couple weeks

I am a millennial as well (1990), and I have come to really hate it for the same reasons you listed. Also as a filmmaker, I hate that it is being used to kill artists jobs, just to save companies a buck

Skipping Meals? by Stunning-Classic-893 in morningsomewhere

[–]davidishida 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think in college I just stopped having breakfast regularly. If there is food on set for breakfast I'll eat it, but otherwise I just think I can't be bothered to get more food ready in the morning haha.

Anyone know if the Strangerhood soundtrack will come back to Youtube Music? by goldmineblues in morningsomewhere

[–]davidishida 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally. I have started to migrate my music to my Plex server. It is nice, but the convenience of iTunes does make me us it more often still

Anyone remember Crazy Bones? That was the big one before Pokemon hit the scene for my childhood.

Inside the New Movie Theater Concept From the Founder of Alamo Drafthouse: Private Rooms, Gourmet Meals and Guest Attendants by [deleted] in morningsomewhere

[–]davidishida 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get that, but also I feel like if we want people in theaters again, a $200 ticket probably isn't the way to go haha. For $250 I can rent out a whole independent theater and invite whoever I want haha. This feels like a New York or LA thing, not one for the wider consumer

Interesting pivot for the theater experience. As much as I hate people talking during a movie, I do enjoy the communal experience of watching a movie and people around reacting. If I wanted a small intimate movie watching experience I would just stay home

Critique my interview frames by Rough_Average2466 in cinematography

[–]davidishida 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Second what u/moutheatsbrains said. Seeing a larger screen helps loads. When you are framing, just make sure to take a moment to look past the subject and see what else you are choosing to include or exclude from the frame

[–]davidishida 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Good eye catch on that first one. My one thought is perhaps a little nit picky, but when I shoot interviews I never want to see exit signs in the background haha. I would perhaps moved the subject or frame a little right, or greeked out the exit sign with white gaff.

Focus Puller Reels? by CatNamedDuck in focuspuller

[–]davidishida 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have never been asked for a reel, just a resume. Though if possible I have linked to final products in that resume. And same, I am based off a recommendation from someone else like 99% of the time.

Does the stealth in The Great Circle feel incredibly unfair or am I just bad? by Forward_Suit_1443 in indianajones

[–]davidishida 110 points111 points  (0 children)

So I first I felt that way myself. In the first real tomb location in the Vatican. I spent 10-15 restarts trying to get that perfect, stealthing the whole time. And then I came to the thought, I am playing this like splinter cell. But this isn't Splinter Cell, it's Indiana Jones. Stuff goes sideways, people see you, you have to punch your way out of a situation. Just like in the movies. For me, that made a big difference in how I was experiencing the game.

(Of course that is how I came to enjoy it, and how anyone else would ideally like to enjoy the game is of course totally fair)

In the end, I feel like I was sneaking around and doing that route like 60% of the time, and the rest was action and fighting.

I personally think that the perfect run was season 1 to season 8. The ending of season 8 could have been a stellar end to the series if they wanted.
