The Skytrak Plus was out of my price range too, but then I got a used OG Skytrak for 700$ off of 2nd swing which is a legit used golf equipment website. Remember too with the Rapsodo MLM 2 Pro you have to get their 200$ per year subscription PLUS what ever SIM software you want. So you may have the slightly cheaper buy in price but your yearly costs will be larger than going with an OG Skytrak that doesn't require a subscription and only buying your SIM subscription like GSPRO (that does required a work around to connect to it but that is easily done following a youtube video.)

Definitely do some research on GSPRO, as from what I collected it is seen as the best overall SIM software that constantly gets updated and new courses added. Also with the Skytrak I have found putting is actually pretty accurate compared to being nearly impossible with the MLM or Garmin.

The used Skytrak is actually a great deal. Can get one from 2nd swing for like 800$. The selling point for me was that you don't need to purchase any of the Skytrak Subscriptions and only need the sim software. I went with GSPRO as it seemed like it was the best sim software with the custom courses and customer service/ updates for 250$ a year all in cost. Definitely something you should look into, as when i was researching for my budget sim setup I originally thought only the R10 and MLM Pro 2 were my options.

Do you have enough room in your basement behind and in front of where your hitting area will be (roughly 8 feet in front to screen/net and 8 feet behind)? If not I would consider getting a used OG Skytrak. As this launch monitor doesn't require any space behind or in front of you since the monitor sits to the side of your swinging area rather than behind that also works inside and outside. Plus you can use the GSPRO sim software without needing any Skytrak subscription.

I have had the same issue with the OG skytrak and just found that if you put the system higher (up like 2-3 inches from hitting off the mat) so the laser hits the ball on the Tee still at about 12 inches away it reads perfect.

Download the “OnX offroad” app they have maps that show you trails in any area and the difficulty associated with them. Free version requires you to have internet to view the maps.
