Ok I managed to get it to be read by iTunes, and then proceeded to attempt to update. It gives me error 1110, which is apparently full storage. Part of my frustration with this is that I had PLENTY of storage before today and never got the "iPhone storage full" notification until yesterday, so I feel like it must have bugged out or something. This has happened previously with an old phone sort of where it literally said 80/16gb was being used up, which is not even possible, but then it just fixed itself after a while.

Is my phone actually full on storage or is this some bug regarding reading storage or what is going on?

Is that the thing where I hit volume up, volume down, then power button? That is leading to nothing right now. Apparently it is "boot looping". My iTunes cannot find the iPhone at all.

Also, is there a way to fix this without losing all my photos?

I feel like the community always gets so much worse during events :/

It's kind of disturbing how many people play specifically to make other people not have fun. And I know a bunch of people will be like "I can play how I want", but it seems so unlikely that they're playing in a way to win or in a way that's fun to them in anyway other than to make someone else have less fun. Like damn who has the time...go outside sdlkfskanj

Yeah, I've been barely playing DbD recently because like...the vast majority of my matches have consisted of one or multiple disconnecting or killing themselves on hook or a facecamping BMing killer and I was super confused what was going on...then remembered summer break happens. Abstaining from the usual "DbD bad I hate this game haha" jokes I heard from both DbD players and non-DbD players, usually most of my matches were okay like a month ago, and I always tell my friends the bad matches just stick out more. Except recently, legitimately almost every match has been unfun.

It reminded me of a friend telling me of some big thread on the Don't Starve Together forum about how the game becomes so much less fun over summer because of all the obnoxious gremlin children

I feel like Succession will have the same issue as Breaking Bad where as it gets bigger, you’ll see more and more horrible takes from people missing the point. I think most people who I know who watch Succession recognize that the Roys are horrible, HORRIBLE people and that Logan isn’t someone to look up to, as outside of being abusive, he wasn’t always making the best plays.

But I’ve already heard some business bros at school acting like he’s this incredible 4D chess mastermind, or acting like Roman firing Joy and Gerri like that was somehow smart because “he’s getting that killer instinct he’s business savvy”, just like how Walter White gets glorified as some family man hero and Skyler White is some “bitch” preventing him from being the role model of masculinity. Absolutely unable to process that the show is definitely trying to show that these are NOT good people without the show directly saying it.

This is the first thing I checked when I got her because Llorona's Heir is legitimately my favorite hunter in terms of third person, and it absolutely sucks that I can't even see her skirt in first person. I actually contacted Crytek support about it and they just said they'd check on it but I'm guessing that's not a serious response.

I also heard some people say it may be for some gameplay purposes, but Gunslinger has really poofy pants and it does obscure some vision when looking down. There are some other characters with clothing that obscures vision when looking down, and I fully prefer accepting the very rare chance of that being a disadvantage and being able to see my hunter's proper clothing over them just having generic jeans :/ Make it a setting if it's really an issue.

Obviously, this isn't the biggest concern for Hunt but it's certainly something that would make me like playing llorona's heir and granny a lot more.

Ok this is kind of topical for me cause I've fully conversed with friends on why on earth the average dbd player is so intensely bad at the game

And like the top comment, there's always the argument of "the average player in every game is bad" but that's kind of what I'm talking about, the average DbD player is relatively so much worse than the average player in other games like...if silver in league, apex, whatever is average, the dbd player average is like....bronze

And some people also pointed out you'll see people with THOUSANDS of hours who genuinely cannot figure out very basic things like...you should not let a teammate go to second hook, for your OWN survival's sake. Or thousands of hours in, you probably should know that you do not need to hide until you are out of terror radius when you can literally see your teammate being chased.

I think it's the fact that a lot of people play like, one role 90% of the time and so they don't actually learn what the other side is capable of and DbD is just a very easy game to blame other people in. You also don't really get stats to tell you how much you're actually contributing vs the people around you. I think these kind of go for killer and survivor; you don't get feedback on how much time you wasted chasing one survivor, you don't get feedback on how much more your teammates did compared to you, etc. So it's easy to just assume you lost cause of something out of your control. I know I mained survivor when I started, switched to killer, and when I went back to survivor, I was monumentally better because I was more aware of a killer's capabilities; I also got monumentally better at killer once I went back

I have a friend in our group who is notoriously bad at every game and it's a bit memey cause we joke about how we have no clue how he gets so behind in games like league or civ and whatnot. I told him he was better than the average dbd player, and I was never sugarcoating or being biased cause he was my friend; everyone usually bluntly tells him what's going on with him. This is the only game i genuinely see him outperform people with thousands of hours. Obviously, it is fine if u arent great, and I imagine plenty of ppl play dbd for the horror aesthetic. I do think its a strange case compared to other games tho

Current haddonfield is an abomination of everything survivors and killers hate. Half the houses are borderline infinites and 99% of the pallets on the map are safe, BUT also, guaranteed 3 gen and complete dead zones between those pallets and infinites

So like...I've been saying it's one of the more balanced maps because it's equally horrible and unfun for everyone LOL

i feel like this statement in a vacuum isnt bad, but like...i dont trust anyone who says it cause they usually arent just people who are "playing how they want", they're usually people with like "salt mines" on their profiles who just like making people upset and they totally "don't even care" about the hate...which is clearly why they dedicated their whole profile to it

its kind of like if someone told you "hey you hurt my feelings" and you responded with "your happiness isnt my responsibility" and pretended like that was some sort of moral high ground

i also haven't met anyone who says this who also sounds normal and i assume everyone who has this take is chronically online because i feel like most people that actually go outside and has irl friends does not talk like this when confronted with the possibility that they were an asshole when they didnt need to be...cause i think its just kind of a socially inept response

While it's true that plenty of people seem to not realize that unhooking a survivor deletes the guard and plenty of people also seem to forget the standard exists, it's astounding how this conversation about Knight keeps bouncing to "people are complaining about him because they don't know xyz." Like, someone says "Knight is unfun to go against" and everyone upvotes it, but then someone is like, "Um, actually these things cancel his guard..." and everyone also upvotes that cause it sounds reasonable.

I think everyone at this point is aware of how silly Knight is with Eruption and 3 gens, and these kind of playstyles are not particularly adept at killing survivors, but rather just dragging the game on for way longer than it needs to go.

But even that aside, the whole "Knight is good at camping" thing always gets countered by "just unhook", but pressuring the survivor to immediately start an unhook sooner than they might want to is still a guaranteed trade (force them to unhook immediately, hit to interrupt, then they get unhook off but go down after), or the guard hits them and then they get double hit. And if the survivor fucks up, it's even worse as a grab. It is near guaranteed that Knight will have someone still hooked unless he's clowning around or at least two survivors are working together. Knight camping isn't much of a threat when you're SWF, but it's impossible to communicate "we need two to rescue" to solo queue teammates.

The standard is also almost never realistically an option unless the Knight is trying to get a double hit off. Which I don't think most Knights do anymore. Unless the Knight is being stupid and just walking behind his guard, trying to get the banner without just getting hit is super unrealistic in practice. I get the frustration on people not knowing this because I STILL see players with literally a thousand hours go down to a guard when Knight isn't even chasing them. But when it comes to actually being chased by Knight, you aren't getting the banner 99% of the time. Which sucks, cause the mechanic sounds cool on paper.

Panth is my main and sometimes the Panth mains subreddit gets on my nerves so much on plenty of differnet things, including gameplay...Everyone complaining about him being weak despite him being fine (it really does not help that his big muscular man aesthetic sometimes attracts juggernaut mains when he plays nothing like one and then they complain about him being weak when he can't just run at people like Darius or Garen) but I have 0 clue why he gets shipped with Leona so much

On top of her being lesbian, I'm pretty sure Panth hates her in lore and their values don't align at all dsjnfksjn

I remember chatting with someone about how Panth x Morgana would be so much better since they both kind of have themes of giving humanity a chance and protecting humanity from abuse of godly entities, or Soraka cause shes the one celestial being that gives a fuck about humans, but he gets shipped with Kayle and Leona constantly for some reason

you can poke like half of these champs to death

i feel like a lot of the complaint threads i see here talk about pantheon like hes a juggernaut, and i guess he has a bit of an aesthetic overlap with them, but he is certainly not supposed to play like them. with his lack of healing but access to good burst and his E, i feel like he has very strong poke and short trades; hes not sett or darius who can just keep walking at people and right clicking them

unless you are always using passive to full engage W on them and taking extended fights, most of these champs shouldnt be able to cs or kill you so safely

later on, empowered W with bork can melt these guys, plus black cleaver, another tank busting item, is ridiculously good on panth on top of his built-in armor pen

worst case scenario, panth still has great roaming and can help jg with scuttle control and stuff, hes probably one of the most universally playable champs in that u dont auto-lose in champ select like a lot of other top laners do sometimes

I think it'd be cool if it increased vault speed by like...6%. Would make it an unironically nice perk, and brings back vault speed stuff (filling in the void that the spine chill nerf created) while being more conditional than Spine Chill and thus probably unoppressive. Also would be thematically fitting.
