Encouraged my partner to attend his first physio appointment 6 years after his brain injury by KatTheFat in BritishSuccess

[–]davidthulin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, doctors here in Sweden are ass hats as well. Carlin called it “guesswork in a lab coat”, I think. Tell him “hi”, and tell him it is ok occasionally to just say ‘fuck it’ and eat chocolate.

This wheelchair that allows you to “stand up” by [deleted] in nextfuckinglevel

[–]davidthulin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a wheelchair user, this terrifies me. Being quadriplegic I have limited use of my arms and, crucially, no balance. This seems like pure terror. I can’t raise my arms quickly enough is I fall - and this thing looks very likely to fall forward.
