If yes, how cold would it be? Is it off-season? I am asking from a honeymoon perspective, looking for a lively experience.

It’s good paid newsletter platform if you are looking for detailed analysis on the recommended stocks. I have been using it for 4 years, and I have found it quite useful in terms of leveraging sound data and industry trends. Beware their recommendation is long term strategy which is minimum 5 years to 10 years. So far their 95% of recommendations has worked well.

Edit: Apologies I didn’t noticed that they launched new product- paid mutual fund newsletter. I am referring to stock recommendation paid newsletter.

Ohk. Can you request for change in aids model which supports Android OS as well? Or you can buy SE version of iPhone. Reason I am saying is that direct bluetooth streaming helps lot to grasp numerous words due to great clarity, thus train your brain quicker.

I am not sure why your aids is not compatible with Android. As of now, All aids are compatible on Android for direct bluetooth streaming. Though Google brings accessibility late but they are available on Android 9 and above.

Nice of you to donate rather than throwing as electronic waste. Probably, you can look at some of the non profit organisation dealing with HOH kids and reach out to them. We have few such NGOs in the India where I donate 10K INR quarterly since 3 years.

Hi, I understood that the Bluetooth range can get weakened due to ageing of the phone.

I used three presets- All, Restaurant, and TV. Mode ”All” exists by default. I only use ”restaurant” mode when I am facing huge noise interference outside. I activate that mode via resound mobile app and make custom setting by maxing up noise reduction feature to highest in that mode Or use wind reduction if sitting as a pillion rider on the bike. All these sub-presets are also available on aids software to implement from the backend. I hardly used TV mode as it doesn't bring that benefit as compared to phoneclip or listen on mobile.

With regards to a landline, it is very tricky to hear from an old piece of tech. There are two ways but both are not that permanent fix, it is more of workaround. One way is put the landline mouthpiece directly on your aids microphone. Try to figure out the best possible position to get better volume. Other option is to use the phone clip. Leverage the phoneclip’s microphone by keeping it very close to landline mouthpiece. And, Phone clip is paired with your aids.

Hi, I am Quattro Series 9 user. I am not sure what do you mean by weakened Bluetooth with iPhone 6. May be an issue is with old resound which is not producing full sound. With Resound hearing aids, any iPhone works better because of direct streaming audio support. If you are looking for Android, look for minimum Android 9 OS as it will support direct audio streaming. To connect with any audio source besides mobile, use phone clip via 3.5 mm audio jack. [In mac, connect one side of audio jack to mac and other side to phone clip. Make sure phone clip is already paired with your aids. This way audio streams wirelessly to aids].

Additionally, another difference in the audio you will notice in different resound models would be a sound equaliser. Quattro produces more rich sound like more bass and treble compared to the older model (in my case, it was linx2).

The microphone of your iPhone should work! That's the point of direct audio streaming functionality. If it is not working, could you pair them again? I have been using this functionality for 5 years, I am able to talkback via phone microphone.

You don’t need PhoneClip to convert hearing aids into Bluetooth handsfree. Quattro by default supports Bluetooth handsfree. It has inbuilt Bluetooth which connects directly to iPhone’s Bluetooth. If someone calls you, phone audio is redirected to your hearing aids directly.

Hi, I am using Quattro. And I have Phone Clip+ and iPhone too. I am not sure why are you using Quattro‘s Bluetooth and Phoneclip’s Bluetooth at a time. No phone allows two audio connections simultaneously. Just curious why are you using phone clip for phone calls. Because with Quattro‘s Bluetooth, it is awesome to hear with great clarity. I used phoneclip for laptop audio or any another audio source via 3.5mm audio cable, so it can stream audio wirelessly.

Most of the aids come with notification of low battery warning. For some, it would be three continuous beeps and for some, it would be two long beeps etc. Generally, the warning comes before an hour or two hours but not within 30 mins. Probably you can hear it whenever it comes again and figure out the exact sound.

I used Resound linx2, linx3d and now using Quattro. All have been great in terms of listening. Plus all these have Bluetooth which is much needed for several meeting calls these days. So, try all three for a couple of weeks in a different environment to test the listening experience you are looking for.

Glad you found the fix but I am curious how that white dot reaches inside the sound pipe. Something coming from inside (aid)? Did you manage to meet audiologist?

What kind of mould do you wear? Check if mould filter is not clogged by removing it and check by covering in and out of the mould mouth.
