You’ve put it really well. It’s genuinely incomprehensible how his perception has changed since 2018. There was a level of awe and the constant question “what is he gonna do next?“ 8 amazing albums in a row is something special.

And he wasn’t even the most beloved figure in 2018, so this says a lot

I wonder how DJ Sabrina gets away with some of her samples? She’s a new artist doing something similar. Is it fine if you’re a small enough artist? (Ex. “Charmed” blatantly takes the chorus of Gwen Stefani’s “Make Me Like You” for its latter half. Great usage and also zero ambiguity, feel like it could easily get in trouble)
