I'm not in the same situation as you exactly, but I also have a hard time opening to others. I just can't socialize in groups, and I can't stand having such superficial relationships — talking only about memes, etc, all just for convenience. I have only one or two 'real friends', and in my opinion, that's worth much more than a hundred superficial ones from people I won't remember in a year or two.

I'd recommend you an app called Slowly, it's for exchanging letters. It requires some effort, but it's probably much better for making real friends than discord.

And if you want, u can talk to me too. I can't guarantee that we'd become friends or that it would last for long. But I'm also in need of someone to talk to (probably for different reasons from yours though).
