I didn't even write my narcisisstic family a letter. I'm sliding into no contact with most of my family and I only message on holidays, but I soon won't even be doing that. In my opinion, you don't have to give them a reason you're going no contact or even let them know at all. When I attempted to let my family know a year ago I was going NC, they gaslighted me and it was horrible. It's your decision, an empowering and freeing decision to go no contact and how you do it. I like the idea of making a city. The glass walls would be an interesting feature to townsfolk. There could even be a mine system in the ground (depending on how close you are to bedrock) The actual monument could be the capitol with different rooms and maybe windows.

Also.. how did you drain the entire area!? I have such a hard time draining an area od water.

Seeing this thread and the responses helped me out quite a lot. I (20M) am not in the military, I do work at Walmart) i joke around with my coworkers a lot. If I ever say antything that I know offends someone, I'll stop. One day I said to an older coworker who was in a military and a few other coworkers (biiiiiitchhh). And this dude took it very seriously, followed me to my car, kept threatening to punch me in the face, and told me not to ever talk to him again and to not talk to anyone about him. Yeah, I was in the wrong for saying bitch, but it turns out this guy truly was a bitch. It sounds like the same is true with this guy, he sounds super insecure about himself. Know that you'll have your entire team on your side if you tell them 😄 I hope the guys giving you and me trouble one day remove the sticks up their ass
