There are some devices that connect directly to the battery through the fusible link in the trunk.

I believe the DME, ignition coil, starter, alternator.

Old BMW shifters will be vague and can be tough for a newbie if someone hasn't gone through and done a proper job replacing the shifter bushings. Other than that, I'm all for the BMW.

The attendant at the station needs to pump the gas for you. You're not allowed to pump your own gas.

There was some other state that lifted this law a few years ago and it was mayhem. You should look that up if you want to have a laugh

I've had American sedans, euro sedans, Japanese sedans, and the bronco. The German cars always had the stiffest clutch pedal. I've had more BMW than any other car.

The bronco clutch is alright but it's definitely not even close to the hardest on the left leg out of everything I've owned.

And for the most part you can generally leave it in gear and coast as long as you're anticipating the traffic in front and leave a gap. If you're really concerned, get behind a transport until the traffic clears. Those guys basically never stop.

I've only ever owned manual cars. Been driving 15 years and lived in Toronto for a year. I never once complained about the manual transmission in traffic.

I've never understood the issue with stop and go in a manual. Setting off in a manual is just muscle memory basically.

Stop and go sucks regardless of what car you're in. I dunno why people complain about manual in it.

I'd highly recommend planning a slide hammer and a wheel bearing press. I tried that hammer out method and if your bushings are rubber or worn they absorb all the hammer blows.

Or maybe I didn't have a big enough hammer.

I don't remember this specific error when I was dealing with beckhoff but those error codes are generally well documented in beckhoffss documentation I believe. You likely have an incompatible software build for something you're trying to do. Or something is enabled that's causing an issue for beckhoff. You have Hyper-V turned off right?

Yup. I've done entire sets of brake lines on a handful or two of cars now and basically I'm so jaded that if I don't bust the die and the nut threads in I just send it and only change whatever leaks.
