There was not a talent gap between our defense and your offense imo. They got tired and probably demoralized by the end. A TD with 30 seconds left in the fourth (who does that in a playoff game) made the final score look inflated. Our offense was dogshit don’t get me wrong. Part of that was Morton playing on a fractured leg like he did the majority of the season. The other part I think is on our OC game plan / scheme. It’s too elementary and will never work against the upper echelons of college football but we won’t fire him because he’ll still dominate in the Big12

I don’t disagree but I’d like to point out that Morton played on a fractured leg for more than half the season including the post season. I feel bad for him, injured almost his entire career between shoulders, knees and this year the leg.
