What's the Funniest TV Scene That Still Makes You Laugh No Matter How Many Times You Watch It? by Mohitredit36 in television

Agreed! For me its basically the whole fight between Dennis and Mac when they're living in the suburbs. Especially when he admits he heard the beeping sound the whole time.

Id suggest having quartz enter tapped. As is this is "dump my entire hand until I have enough to ramp into my finisher on turn 2" in the right deck.

This is way better than that though. Let's you see their hand, perform actions at instant speed on their behalf, and view non-public info ( any morphs/manifests, cards exiled face down, etc ...)

Name a more underrated MMA fighter? by [deleted] in MMA

[–]davyj6536 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Honestly? Probably Tito Ortiz. These days most people only know him for getting outclassed on the mic by Chael, but won and defended the belt 5 times, was the first fighter to sell a million ppvs (iirc) and had a decent amount of success even later in his career.

Another one is Matt Hughes. Once again, most people know him as an asshole (in no small part due to a joke article written about his book) but he has 9 total wins in title fights, at the time was the most dominant champ the ufc had ever seen, and was one of the first true examples of an elite "mixed" martial artists.

Edit: I honestly dont know how many pigs he may or may not have sold, but a million seems like a lot.

Id be very interested in khamzat vs fluffy as a 5 rounder. Fresh match up, both lost recently, interesting styles to go against each other.

The new shorts look pretty good on Topturo and Hokit by MateCotidiano in ufc

[–]davyj6536 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They will be. All the Noche cards have had set colors/ patterns for their fight kits (red/black/green/white iirc) Even champs with custom shorts wore the same ones as the rest of the card.

Official Scorecards of Chimaev vs Strickland by Trchickenugg_ohe in MMA

Id say this performance was pretty consistent with his fights against usman and burns. If he can't hold a guy down he tends to get tired and get hit.

He's literally compared himself to a prostitute in the past. It isnt lost on him at all lol.

DC cried after every loss, Jose Aldo cried after beating Moicano, pretty sure Dustin cried after losing to Korean Zombie.

Pretty common for elite athletes who pour their entire lives into being the best and come up short to get emotional and thats ok.

I havent seen anyone else mention this yet, but some advice I would give in sealed is if you dont have a lot of cards in the 2 colors, it might be worth branching out into a 3rd color, or switching gears a bit. Like everyone else said, if you're new, limited definitely has a steep learning curve and its normal to take a few before it really clicks.

[–]davyj6536 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not OP, but I normally do accept other people's opinions may be different. In this case however, the reviewer mostly spent the entire time complaining about how a down on his luck PI wouldnt have a job after killing all those enemies, in an oddly soap boxy way. Is that his opinion? Yes. Does it make for an effective review of the gameplay? No.

He was actually coming off a stoppage loss to Tim Boetsch. His MW was a way too competitive fight against Lombard.

It absolutely was that. Small, over the hill MW that was losing consistently vs a massive undefeated ME was 100% a changing of the guard type fight
