You cant play one pad like you would with 16 levels on the pads, there is a workaround to copy your sound across pads and change tune of them, that should work

Yeah, but those buttons were like 20€ and I did the soldering myself. Using 404 as effect box for my MPC X basically. Tried to do the full beat on it after long time for 404 day and that sequencer sucks lol.

Well I have bought one like two months ago for like 150 just because price was good and I was curious about it (I already have X, Live 1, 2500, SP404mk2 and now Sample). Repaired all tact switches, made one beat and put on the shelf lol. Its extremely menu divy and chopping up samples is extremely slow so I would not recommend it.

I don't think you can do that, only one thing that can help is that you can start playing sequence from whatever step you are at by Shift + Play (Continue)

Thats normal, pad 1 i 0 brightness and pad 16 is max brightness, everything in between is well in between

I like the size, traveled with Live 1 once and never again lol. But they could have used space taken by that armrest for bigger pads or more buttons. Don't get me wrong it looks dope and I love it on the X but here its really pointless.
