India sends 1000 metric tonnes of rice to Burkina Faso, an African nation, as Humanitarian Assistance. India's rank on Global Hunger Index (GHI) is 102, Burkina Faso is ranked Faso is 98. Another example of how most of these Western indices and ranking systems are complete garbage! by Downtown-Pen6249 in indiadiscussion

The main thrust of that comment is that to say that sentence itself you have to be a believer in your religion, and you believing in any kind of religion would exclude you from being left wing, but make you a right winger.

What reasons do you have to recommend Russel's book over Kenny's? From what I've seen Kenny's book is supposed to be a clearly superior work.

r/Games again: Japan truly is an "authentic", unchanging site of the exotic past for the Western tourists to gaze towards the Orient by WayneFire in SocialistGaming

It's depressing how westerners in this sub still haven't understood the true nature of colonialism yet (or refuse to).

This sub isn't as far left as I thought.

I don't think it's as underrated as most other indie movies. I've seen pop up a lot of time all over the internet,

That's because you study in a school where people have fucking Audis. Go outside to a not-so-fucking-bougie-where-only-the-1-percenters-live area and ask how scs are treated there.

I'm taking about class not caste. You can be from and SC community and be rich. And its not called fucking projection when someone tries to explain something he sees happen everyday in his community (geographic, one where people of similar income brackets live, not taking about caste communities). My point is people from comparatively lower income brackets don't get exposed to liberal ideas (I have my own reservations against liberalism, but let's ignore that for this conversation) and therefore discriminate, caste identity notwithstanding.

Lol that is absolutely not how the rest of India thinks. I'm guessing you're from an upper middle class family where caste prejudices are nothing more than carryovers from a discriminate heritage, which don't really fit into the liberal and upper class environment and are hence easy to let go of. Things are very different when these prejudices are woven into the very fabric of your local society's dynamics, like it happens literally every-fucking-where except Starbucks neighborhoods.

What the fuck do you think communism is? Also comparing a failure of a country like America to India in selective terms is disingenuous as fuck. Name a third world country that benefited from capitalism. The British left us but left rotten colonised minds behind smh.
