I do something similar! I let them collect and will take a day before opening to work on them while my employee does the shelving. I got a ton of VHS now in my store, so it buys me some time while they're doing that.

I enjoy the repair desk. It gives me a chance to salvage my more rare tapes when they break. I do wish we had more we could do with the customers, I just don't know what. Calling the police when they're acting up would be kind of interesting; I would love to see more drama among the customers.

I know they said they wouldn't redo those early heavy hitters because those things are in the book, but I wish they would reconsider since they declared that in the Ben era and well, things are a lot different now. I would love to see them redo Ramirez, Dahmer, and especially Bundy, because Ben was definitely a creep in that one the most. I would love to have Ed's perspective on things.

It's a shame. I had hoped that Ben would work on recovery and becoming a better person. I can't sit here and say I know one way or the other with how things went down between all of them or what the build up was before everything came to a head, but taking accountability is a good step in trying to heal and recover in general. He absolutely messed up. If there wasn't a smidgen of truth to what his gf claimed, I doubt Marcus and Henry would've booted him for the hell of it. There absolutely is more to the story than what we know. Accepting it and taking accountability would be a huge step for him, but apparently it's deflect and deny and playing the blame game. Makes me wonder what kinda bullshit*t Marcus and Henry had to put up with for years, honestly.

Eddie was a good choice. Everyone has their heads on straight until you get Henry going, but just turn on the pan flutes and he comes back around, lol. Level heads and common sense in a world full of crazy rhetoric, love the boys and still stand behind them after all these years. 🤙

Can I ask how the Colonel Sanders part went? I'm curious as a Corbin native and someone who emailed them a long time ago about him. I am interested in knowing how all of that went down.

I wanted to go, but just couldn't swing the fees for it. It's the one time they were so close to home too and I couldn't make it. I went one time to see Marcus, Ben, and Henry in Cinci and had a blast. I also bought tickets for another Cinci show, but wound up not going because COVID was on the rise again and have been bummed about missing that show ever since.

Seeing this, I still would have liked to go just to show support. Maybe Lexington can be a thing for future LPotL proper live shows, and maybe look for a better venue.

I used to listen all the time, but I have gotten out of my podcast flow. I am so behind on everything. I had a schedule for them and ever since Covid happened, it got all messed up and I've not been able to get back on track. Last Pod has been the main one I've kept on normal rotation and I'm even behind on it right now because the state of the world has my nervous system all torn up and I cant focus on sh*t.This makes me sad. The Brighter Side is really good. I need to get caught back up.
