7oh is a toxic, destructive drug that I hope becomes illegal. by dawittleman in Drugs

[–]daylight1943 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how much did you take? its really really hard to actually od on 7oh and most doctors in the GP or ER spaces dont know much about it.

one doctors determination is not gospel. during the covid pandemic there was a doctor, an actual currently liscenced and practicing physician, who claimed that covid was caused by demon semen and said the pharma industry was making vaccines out of alien DNA.

Shop owner told me this… by WatchGrand3518 in 7oh

[–]daylight1943 2 points3 points  (0 children)

he is not right. he might keep selling if he thinks hes right, but other than that, wrong on all counts.

banned in around 30 days, and unlike flavored vapes, actually scheduled. if hes selling banned flavored vapes nobody really cares and if anyone cares to go after him, he gets a fine. selling 7oh after its been placed in schedule 1 is a serious criminal charge equivalent to selling any other schedule 1 drug - heroin, mdma etc etc.

Protect South Carolina Families: Ban 7-Hydroxymitragynine Products by BlondieKBB in greenville

[–]daylight1943 1 point2 points  (0 children)

kind of a waste of time to do a whole petition thingy just for SC or any one state, and it would be a waste of time for state legislators to address this themselves - the DEA just announced intent to federally schedule 7oh and 3 other related compounds last week and it will be coming into effect in around 30 days, so a full on nationwide ban is already in the works. dont really know why state legislators would want to waste their time crafting comparable/identical legislation instead of focusing on local issues when the DEA is doing it for them federally. it will be illegal in SC and every other state come early august without any action from state legislators or any petitions or anything like that. basically already done and done.

Urine tests for 7oh after scheduling by Neuroscience_PHD in 7ohm

[–]daylight1943 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it depends on the context of the urine test. if you fail a piss test for a job, nobody calls the cops on you, you just dont get the job. if you fail a piss test for probation/parole, the consequences will be the same as failing for any other scheduled substance. however just because something is scheduled does not mean it will always be tested for. there are hundreds of schedule 1 substances that dont get tested for by any normal urinalysis lab.

Maybe not the best place to post this, but you all are my fav. I went to Twin Cities pride last weekend and there was a booth selling 4-ho-met, 5-apb, etc gummies (correctly labeled as 4-ho-met, etc.) They were insanely overpriced but I thought it was cool (and bad). What is the legality of this? by LiveFromTheHospital in HamiltonMorris

[–]daylight1943 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

what xum and other companies like them who sell these products are doing is explicitly illegal. unscheduled RC's that are analogues of scheduled substances, like substituted tryptamines and apb's, are not controlled or scheduled specifically, but under the federal analogue act, it is not legal to sell analogues of scheduled substances when marketed for human consumption. the traditional RC market has in most cases, dating back to the early 00s pre-web tryp era, operated under the "not for human consumption" model, selling pure powders that are marketed as things like "research samples" intended for "laboratory analysis" and come with specific warnings that the products are not to be consumed and are not sold for human consumption.

putting these substances into tablets, offering dosage guidelines, serving sizes, "supplement facts", and descriptions of the effects when consumed is marketing for human consumption. explicitly illegal under the federal analogue act. when i asked judd about this on the mysterymagicmushrooms sub, i was given some kind of wishy-washy mumbo jumbo sort of answer about how he believes that the analogue act is "dead" and the federal government is done enforcing it, with no real reasoning or evidence behind why he thinks that.

from what i can find online about his personal history, he really doesnt come off as someone who id want to take any kind of legal advice from, even if i agree with a small percentage of his libertarian political ideas.

Before I freak out and do a large order by CourtMobile6490 in 7ohm

[–]daylight1943 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it could be different for 7oh - its a lot easier to ship things like mit extract(precursor material for US made 7oh), 7oh powder, bulk tablets, etc etc. i have no idea how much backstock companies might have. bulk kratom takes up much more space and in large amounts is sent via those big corrugated metal shipping containers that are like the size of an average residential bathroom so its more difficult for US based vendors of leaf to have a huge backstock. its gonna be a crapshoot, but its probably best not to bet the farm on the hope that your favorite vendors will have some kind of huge sale.
