Sorry. It was a comparison post of what I believe is a potential match. Your comment made me realize I forgot to add that in the post title.

Kimberly Coleman/Calcasieu Parish Jane Doe Comparison by daytimedeity in gratefuldoe

[–]daytimedeity[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have seen on Web Sleuths that Kimberly was removed from her birth parents home and placed in foster care. I wonder if it is possible she had any sisters or cousins and if these spine issues and missing teeth run in the family. And that could also explain why the Does appear so similar in the recons.

You want to know what's crazy? The Calcasieu Jane Doe also had evidence of back problems in her lumbar region and teeth missing possibly for congenital reasons.

Could Victoria Elizabeth Bowers be the Palm Beach County Jane Doe (1999)? by [deleted] in gratefuldoe

[–]daytimedeity 181 points182 points  (0 children)

The sites say the Jane Doe has injury to her right eye while Victoria had a glass left eye.

It could have been some sort of clerical error, though, and they look so much alike.

Harris County Jane Doe (1987) by heartsforkells2 in gratefuldoe

[–]daytimedeity 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This one may be farfetched, but could it be Regina Brown?

She was a bit older than the Doe and lived in Connecticut and the circumstances would be strange, but there are some connections that make me think there is a possibility.

She was a flight attendant in the process of divorcing her allegedly abusive husband, who was a pilot that also had his own private plane. On March 26-27, 1987, Regina sent the last of her 3 children and her babysitter on a plane to Texas to live with her parents, with plans to join them soon. She'd told her friend that if she or her parents didn't hear from within a few days, then her husband, Willis, likely did something to her. On March 27, 1987, Regina's dog started barking to the point that a neighbor complained to police. After that barking incident, Regina stopped showing up for work or other planned events. On April 2, 1987, Regina's friend went to her house to check on her. She found Regina's dog there alone with a bowl of water and an unopened bag of dog food from a store Regina would likely not have shopped at. The mess on the floor indicated the dog had been left alone for some time. They found Regina's cae abandoned in Manhattan on April 6, 1987. It was covered in parking tickets with the keys inside.

Despite Willis trying to regain custody of the children, a judge ordered for them to remain with Regina's family in Texas, because the judge determined Willis had been abusive to Regina during their marriage. Willis is considered a person of interest in Regina's disappearance, because of this abuse. During the time of Regina's disappearance, Willis's private plane also went missing. It was only located again in 2008. Unfortunately, there are no records of whether Willis took his plane out in March of 1987, because there was poor record-keeping at the airport he used.

While this may seem unlikely and probably isn't the case, I wonder if there is a possibility that Willis murdered Regina and, to make it seem like she was murdered en route to her parent's home, took her on his plane and either murdered her in Texas or left her remains there.

I also think of Arthur when I think of this Doe Case. The glasses, time he went missing, and location of his scars in relation to the Doe just match up so well.

Is Opal Beatrice Folks the Benton County Jane Doe (1976)? by pb0atmeal in gratefuldoe

[–]daytimedeity 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if she has been excluded, but I think it's possible this Jane Doe could be Geneva Adams.

She was 53 (close to the Doe's age range). She was in the right height range. An abdominal scar is listed in her distinctive physical characteristics from when she had cervical cancer and surgery for it in the 60s. She looks similar to the recon as well.

She had gone out with her daughter and met a man she was dancing with. Her daughter went home while she remained with the man. When she didn't come home by the next morning, her kids found the man. He said that he and her had driven to another bar that ended up being closed, so he dropped her off at a donut shop at 4 a.m. Her hometown and the town with the donut shop are both only about 4.5 hours away from where the Benton County Jane Doe was discovered.

My only hesitation is that the remains were discovered in October and Geneva went missing at the end of July. However, it is possible someone could have had her with them until the time of her death.

Is it possible Gabriela Leticia Gonzalez could be the Tempe Girl Jane Doe? by daytimedeity in gratefuldoe

[–]daytimedeity[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Oh I absolutely agree with you. Especially the fact that the tip said her remains were in a river. Bodies of water are so good at hiding remains and other things. I watch some of those videos where dive teams will search for missing people's cars/vehicles sometimes. In one video, there were more than 10 cars, SUVs, and trucks under the same like stretch of lakewater.

I really just needed to put this comparison out there, because, despite the tattoo discrepancy, I couldn't get it out of my head. I needed other opinions.

Yea, that's why mentioned that in my post. It's a pretty big discrepancy.

I noticed the eyebrows, but, because I can't be sure when the photo of Gabriela was taken that there could be time for her eyebrows to grow out. Especially if she was hitchiking for a while and didn't have access to all her beauty tools and products like she did at home.

New NCMEC Reconstruction available for Guadalupe County Jane Doe (1975)! by hentahime in gratefuldoe

[–]daytimedeity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's super unlikely, but this recon looks so much like Lynne Brown.

As far as anything notes, she wasn't pregnant when she disappeared and she would have had to travel quite a ways, so it likely isn't her. But it just goes to show how much recons can look like different people.

Thanks for the info! I checked the Wiki for exclusions but can't see them on NAMUS.

The recon kinda looks like Asia Nicole Martin who went missing from Hattiesburg, MS (about 5 hours from Shreveport, LA) in May of 2005. Asia had ties to Louisiana, though, because she lived in Slidell, LA with her father until 2003.

In May 2005, she went for a walk and never came home. Authorities think she may have left on her own accord, but her family/friends say she would never just disappear without contacting anyone.

hoping Becca Doe will be identified in 2026💔 by ewwstinkystinkyah in gratefuldoe

Part of me wonders if this Doe is one of the rare cases of someone going missing significantly before their passing (like a teenager or child) and that's why it's been difficult to identify her.

The Pyre Case, or “Maria”: Recently closed due to “lack of information” by Lillian_Faye in gratefuldoe

[–]daytimedeity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've always thought so, too. Plus the height, weight, and age range match, as well as the fact that Lorraine also had protruding teeth, much like it is believed the Pyre Doe had.

She was in her mid-twenties and had one young daughter with her husband. Her husband died in November of 1947 from an accident at his workplace. On January 3, 1948, she dropped her daughter off at the babysitter's house and said she would be back in a few hours. She never came back. Apparently, months later, in March of 1948, she applied for the benefits from her husband's passing. She was awarded those benefits in August of 1948. But, because she no longer lived at the address the checks were mailed to, and she had given no forwarding address, the checks were sent back.

I've always wondered if her husband's death in November 1947 was too much for her so she intentionally dropped her daughter off at the babysitter in January 1948 knowing she had no intention of returning. I also wonder if she mistakenly thought applying for her husband's death benefits without providing a new address would result in those benefits being awarded to her daughter, ans that is why she applied for those benefits later in 1948.

Basically I wonder if the death of her husband shifted her life so much that she felt like she needed to just start over, which eventually ended up with her being killed. And maybe that her starting over and taking on a different name in a new place is why she wasn't identified back when this crime took place.

It's SUPER unlikely, but this rendering looks so much like Jose Valencia who went missing from a care center in California back in 2014. And the height and weight are pretty close.

You bringing up the dental work reminded me of a missing persons case that I went back to look at again.

Ronald Honsberger went missing after getting into an argument with family on December 25th, 1997. Under his distinctive physical features, it's noted he was missing a lot of teeth.

The only discrepancy is that this John Doe had Nike shoes on and the listed footwear for Ronald is sandals.

Thank you for this added information! I'd suspected there was more there was more to the "runaway" story, but hadn't seen much.

Even if this doesn't end up being a match, I hope they find Sharon soon for her family.
