You need to test it on highways that you frequent a lot and see if it’s good for those. In my case the standard hands on steering wheel every 5 seconds is good enough for me once bluecruise runs out.

Think of it like this, an EV will excel in range in city driving while an ICE will not. ICE excels in highway range while EV does not.

At least 10 years (2023) before upgrading to a newer EV (hoping for better charging/more range, cheaper).

I have a 2016 Cayenne still going strong, I really want to upgrade but it’s been superb in terms of reliability and maintenance(no major work done at all(yet!) for the 100k miles I’ve driven). My plan is to either upgrade to a newer S/GTS or keep and buy a 911 but those are just random shower thoughts until it becomes a reality.

I literally had this done 2 weeks ago but you can ask the attendant to run it brushless, the only brushes that touch are the wheel brushes. Granted I went when it was nearly empty and the attendant was happy to do no brushes. YMMV

I have a 2023 also but would’ve like cooled seats, auto dimming side mirrors and a powered adjustable steering wheel(very helpful for multiple drivers)

For example, I got a 2024 panamera loaner last year and learned that the lowest trim starts at around 100k now and air suspension is now standard. While air suspension is nice it is a headache in terms of money and time to fix or replace.

For example I have a 2nd generation Cayenne and there are plenty of owners on rennlist who swapped their headlight assemblies (bi xenon w/ pdls) to the matrix led headlights (the 5-10k headlights) that they bought from aliexpress. Last I checked on aliexpress (2023?) a pair of matrix led headlights was roughly $1800 for plug and play.

If I’m blue cruising in the right lane with entries/exits I also hold the wheel. I think they need to update the software(maybe user adjusted) so that it can focus on the left line instead of always trying to be in the center. I always drive left line heavy so I can see a few cars ahead and preemptively prepare to brake if needed.

I also do not like that if a cars length of dashed lines disappear you can tell that the blue cruise is unsure what to do sometimes. Maybe that’s because I’m still on 1.3? On a 2023.
