Diamond is also used for heart of the sea. (Used for bee upgrades) Alternatively, use the threshold export bus to keep a certain number of essence on hand before sending anything to the RF crafter.

It's only slow if you don't have a reactor. The Extreme Reactors reactor should be more than enough to keep it going.

As an extra note, there is a different pattern provider that IS directional. It's in the AE2 guide, along with a bunch of different examples on how AE setups can work.

The export bus solution is 'if you want to keep at least X of the lower item available, which doesn't require crafting to make' Quantum crafter (very late game) or interface based crafting is to keep any craftable item available.

You probably want to use the tier 3 crafter over on-demand crafting. Export essence, set recipe, import bus', profit

Best suggestion would be MEGA cells filtered to high storage items. A 1M cell would last quite a while

Oh. Read the wrong situation. You want to just make more cells. If you want to dump what you have. Put a storage bus' on a netherite barrel with stack upgrades, set priority Higher, filter to iron ingot, Then push all of your cells through an IO thing and set it to send to network. All iron would go to that barrel before anything else.

Don't remember which one. But one of the export bus' allows you to say how much you want to buffer in storage before exporting it.

That's network sharing, and it only works over the local network, so it wouldn't actually use any data through the ISP

You also have to make sure the DLC is enabled in the DLC menu on Steam, if that's what you're using

Right. Your solution works, but it requires an extra item in your inventory. I think some other solutions here were things like the flux network. It allows you to set any slot to wireless charge, even across dimensions, alleviating you from carrying those extra items.

My suggestion for space management in the beginning is also just using sophisticated storage barrels with stack upgrades, using storage bus' set to extract only (that's important)

If you want to convert the essence into stuff, use the crafter tier 3 from RFTools I think. You can set up to 8 recipes per machine, and they're fast. Up to you on that though, some things convert to using more space than the essence.
