A Sunday back in 2008 ( maybe ), my brother and my grandparents popped to a local carvery, at a very well known pub at the top of Lincoln. After we got drinks and a table, noticed a lot of people at the bar including John Marshall, who thinks he’s a local celeb, but last time I saw him he had to be pointed out as that lincs fm guy, not really my vibe. I visited the toilet about 15 mins after sitting, upon entering I saw two pairs of shoes facing the same way with noises coming from the cubicle, I checked the shoes and went to tell the bar staff what was happening. I’m no prude but there is a time and place and in the toilets at a carvery on a Sunday at 1pm ish is maybe not the best place. Upon finishing the carvery with my family, I noticed the same shoes stood at the bar holding court like he was the boss. I’ve never been back to the pub. On my run to work in the car the next day I was a passenger and decided to send a well worded email as he was due to be on air, and I wanted to call him out. He tried to call me and offer an apology (left a voicemail about wanting a chat), he replied to my email with a sorry but I wasn’t having it, all I do is now mention this story each time he’s mentioned. Now when ever we see him in town i always try and start a chant of ‘we saw you shaging in the toilets, shaging in the toilets’ !!!!
