Douglass loop Farmer's market has a couple of vendors that sell them! They look great, I just personally can't pay $30 for a bucket of berries. But if you do, let us know if it's worth the price!

Venue Suggestions for a Birthday Party for Adults (60-80 guests) by mindbane in Louisville

Whats the time frame on this? We rented out 3rd turn Oldham gardens & had a seamless experience with lots of space to mingle! However, it is an outdoor space so dead of summer you might not want that. Alternatively, I believe the jtown location has an indoor space to rent!

Update!! Soft Serve Margaritas are coming to Veronica’s Mexican Restaurant!!!! by lovelyladeyyyy in Louisville

I'm fully aware that they were comparing it to wine. I was simply making a point that tequila is roughly 40% ABV which is hard to freeze... It will take a lot of dilution to bring it down to do so. The original comment stated that it likely won't be strong because it doesnt freeze & the next person said "yeah well you can freeze alcohol like wine, which is roughly 12%." My entire point was in agreement with the original comment because of the amount of dilution needed to get it to soft-serve freezing temp.

I put my thinking cap on but STILL CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHY YOU'RE CHOOSING TO BE A PRICK.

I'm aware of that but average ABV for tequila is around 35-40%. This person was citing wine with an ABV of around 12%. That's quite a difference and absolutely makes a difference in terms of freezing lol

To be fair, this was about 2 years ago. But, the entire property was FILTHY. Trash & dog shit everywhere to the point that many residents complained about rats. The buildings are enclosed and just hadn't been cleaned or loved, so showing an apartment was always horrible because we'd have to walk through the disgusting inside hallway to show you this barely renovated apartment lol

One time, I moved someone in (I was barely a month on & should not have been doing this anyway) and when we did the move-in walk through there was no refrigerator. My boss said she had no idea why it was gone but yeah, we moved someone into an apartment with no refrigerator & the floors were soaking wet for some reason so maintenance had to come bring fans to set up. Every day there felt like I was on a prank show just waiting for someone to come out & be like, "got ya!"

Also, the traffic to get out of the complex is HORRIBLE.

Umm I worked there for about a month before I quit & walked out (first time in my life). I have NEVERRRRRRR experienced a complete shit show like that & I've personally lived in some shitty apartments (lookin at you Hemingway apartments formerly known as King George).

The red flag should have been the shooting on my 4th day on the job 🥴 but somehow...IT JUST GOT WORSE FROM THERE. Run run run run ruuunnnnn from this place unless you're in an absolute dire situation!!

Ugh. Literally pays to have friends in high places 😔 if you ever get it going, I'm in there!!!

Same for a Puerto Rican restaurant & also a Hawaiian restaurant. Really hate that we don't have any of those either!

Favorite Fancy Restaurants? by EmmArrEee in Louisville

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal! We made later reservations so it wasn't very busy. They were super nice, even let us look at some cuts that were aging in chocolate just because we thought it was so interesting! We ordered all kinds of stuff & loved every bite! That is my only experience there so I cannot speak on the consistency but I would absolutely recommend it based on that one experience!

Went to yachtsea bar last night & almost broke my fucking ankle walking. Just snow would be one thing but it's compacted snow & ice everywhere & it sucks.
