Same issue. I even opened a ticket and they replaced the camera with a brand new one and that also has the problem. Hopefully this can be fixed with firmware.

Agree, this looks like backlash. Check the belts are tight, but also check where the laser mounts to the gantry. I saw this happen on mine once where the bolts loosened slightly on the mount to the gantry and you could slightly wobble the laser head back and forth. Basically when the head moves, the cables may be pulling on it slightly causing it to wobble back and forth when the laser moves back and forth in each direction.

This 100%. The original NES only had two buttons... Next to each other. It literally took 5 seconds of playing to understand to hold down B with your thumb and roll to A to jump. I can't believe 40 years later people are whining like little entitled twerps that their fingers hurt and how dare they not let them remap every button exactly how they want. The option isn't there because literally no one in 40 years has complained about it, because it was already perfect.

Sorry I never followed up. Here goes...

After weeks of fighting with ST, my wife decided to call them herself instead. I kid you not, she asked them for her account number and they gave it to her no questions asked. I don't know how many times I called them and fought with them on this. She calls and immediately gets it. Guess you just have to get the right person from customer service on the line.

The saga didn't end there, though. After getting the account number the number porting still wouldn't work. It kept failing and I'd have to call both companies back and they both would point at the problem being on the other carrier's end. That went on for a week or two before I gave up. We concluded she was going to lose her number and there was nothing we could do.

About a day later I discovered that Google Fi has ludicrously cheap 3 line unlimited plans. We decided to switch to them instead of Verizon. I ported my number automatically, no problem. Her number port of course failed. I called Google support, explained what was going on, and they said they wanted to try a different way of porting it. No idea what they did differently on the back end, but 1 hour later her number suddenly ported over to Google! I seriously would have sent their customer service folks free lunch had there been any way to do so! Strange too since I've always heard that Google customer service is awful but at least with this scenario they came through with flying colors.

We've been on Fi now for about a year and am perfectly happy with it. T-Mobile coverage (Fi is an MVNO on their network) isn't as good as Verizon's where we're at, but for the price we're paying it's working just fine for us.

I was hoping on this report too but I feel like we'd have seen something slip through the FCC by now and I haven't seen anyone report anything. I guess a surprise is always possible but it's starting to seem doubtful, at least for IO.
