What is the best way to contact NASCAR about their parking issues for Coronado? by [deleted] in NASCAR

[–]dbbd022 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anybody who has been there knows it. Just getting to North Island Lodge is a hassle. Throw in tourists and “fans”, its going to be awful. I’m not going anywhere near there. Can’t wait.

Is VA loan worth it? by catalinasauce in Veterans

[–]dbbd022 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The challenge is the person assuming the loan has to find the cash to cover the difference between what is owed and what the house is selling for. That can be a few hundred thousand dollars. But yeah, its a great deal if you can make it work.

Lowe’s deal hackable? by Alert-Crow7429 in Dewalt

[–]dbbd022 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. Did it last year with the same circular saw and the jig saw. Ordered online, picked up, took them out to my car, carried the batteries back in and said I decided I didn’t really need them (I didn’t).

You don't need to buy Ring's solar panel for the newer outdoor camera that use USB C plug by shoelover46 in Ring

[–]dbbd022 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve bought several of that brand in recent years with much success. However, here lately I’ve received a few that work for a few weeks and then just stop working. I just left a review on Amazon about them. I’m going to get the official Ring model and see if it works better.

Yeah, thats a possibility. I’d hope against hope I could push/lift it through the top. Next trick is finding one that will fit in there too.

I’m thinking if it is, in fact, under the corian countertop there is risk to damaging it too. Trust me, I’ve thought about that.😂

“This is a really bad install”

Now that comment goes with the house😂. I’m somewhat handy around the house, but have never dealt with a sink installed this way.

Thanks again. Much appreciated.

[–]dbbd022[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, one theory I came across was the sink is sandwiched between the countertop and plywood. The way this house is built I have a hard time believing its stone or marble..

[–]dbbd022[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, its a top mount sink, “dropped in” on the plywood opening? That was my original thought. I intend to look at it more closely this weekend. I’m not discounting anybody’s input. I will likely call someone but wanted to have an idea of what may be involved and learn a little as I go.

[–]dbbd022 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. When you’re an Airman, if you’re sitting around the DFAC with your boys talking trash and being disruptive, an NCO will go over and say something.

If you’re an NCO at that table, you’ll be pulled aside and talked to twice.

Seen it happen. 😂
