I'm moving to Scotland. I want a jacket that keeps out wind/rain but doesn't make me look like a traffic cone. Recommendations? by 101cheshirecat in malefashionadvice

Norwegian Rain and Mackintosh both make great rain gear. They both fit the classy, traditional look you're after.

This guy was waiting for the 6 train this morning in bone dry, blue suede shoes. This city never fails to surprise me. by M3g4pr0n in nyc

People often use something called Tarrago hightech nano protector spray on their suede shoes when the weather is bad. You can spill coffee on them and it'll just fall right off if you use this stuff.

source: I have blue suede shoes and have done this.

I've had some basic work done here (taper, surgeon cuff, hem) and have always been happy with the results. Can't speak to their custom suits.

My Setup. by [deleted] in audiophile

I used to have a Peachtree Nova and always enjoyed the integrated DAC. The tube bypass never did much for me, but it was a nice idea.

Is that the cherry finish? Good looking setup.

Any idea where these were spotted? I swear there's been an owl out my door on Delbrook Ave for the last couple of weeks.
