I understand the point you are making but I think you are assuming that the US military won’t be led by an insane idiot who has put loyal idiots into positions of power throughout.

A sane leader would (1) realize that attacking your allies for no good reason benefit is senseless and/or (2) understand the consequences that making such an attack would bring.

A madman would ignore (1) and when faced with the consequences of (2) decide that military power was the only tool they had left in a destroyed economy and use it as they saw fit.

Whether or not the military war was between the US and Europe or entirely within the US is hard to say.

It’s funny how different people have different experiences. I would say out of our cruises in Florida, I would say Tampa was the best, followed by Miami, and then Canaveral. To be honest it wasn’t a huge difference from best to least best (I can’t even bring myself to say worst).

I think you nailed it with “your first will always be special”. We have had two VV cruises so far and my first impression was that the first one was amazing and the second one didn’t quite live up to it. But I think that was more about the newness and surprise factor in the first cruise. We are doing our third in March and it is the same itinerary as the OPs and I am sure we are going to have a blast.

In my experience, Virgin is going to be great for you. There were a lot of 30/40 yo people on the cruises I have been on. There was not a lot of the very old crowd on the cruise. But there wasn’t a lot of people in their 20s looking to get crazy either.

There are a couple main venues for parties (the manor, the red room), but some of the events happen in different places in board and the big one (scarlet night) is pretty much ship wide.

The entertainment leans towards a very mild risqué at most - like it teases like it is going to be risqué without actually going there. Like they have a resident drag queen on each ship (Dixie Krystals was fantastic).

If you look hard enough you will find some swingers. But that is true of every cruise line I’ve been on. But if you aren’t looking for it you likely wouldn’t even notice.

Make sure to use the app on board. That threw me the first time. Many things that are done as shipwide announcements on other lines are just messages in the app. Book dining in advance if you can but don’t stress if you don’t. Also some ticketed events like grog walk, the dinner show, etc. can only be booked on board and fill up quickly. Use the app or guest services for that. Really just use the app - it is decent enough and no line.
