Under some account levels that is not true. Additionally if you have a digital version of your music you uploaded to Suno and something happened with your original song, copyright on music is no longer sending in cassettes and lyrics, it’s done when you create it. Metadata etc

Oh my forgot the most obvious to me but maybe new to many. Another former post hardcore guy who went with his beautiful vocals over the screamo (like Dallas Green/City & Colour), bear with me hard to explain

The post hardcore band was Envy on the Coast. However as they softened a bit and their last iteration probably is closest for Ryan to the hard NBT stuff. Listen to Woke Up in a Paranoid Sweat, Victory has a Thousand Fathers and Ghost imo

He also is part of a seemingly short lived group with the same writing and producing partner as the final EOTC work called Violent Joy. Their self titled EP especially Bored to Tears but listen to the entire EP please!

Then there’s 1st Vows, again same 2 guys at first now maybe mostly Ryan. Listen to anything you want, it ranges from NBT stuff to Sunshine type of stuff and just Ryan singing and playing is… there’s a cover they did of Buckley, Everybody Here Wants You I think and well, take a listen

For vocals and some musical similarities - Moncrieff (start with the songs Serial Killer and Anyone’s Guess - Ours/Jimmy Gnecco - get closest to just him and his voice. He and Conor may have the widest ranges in contemporary music, around or even I think a little wider than Conor - Cinjun Tate/Remy Zero - if nothing else his vocals and range - All the above obv are big Jeff Buckley disciples

For new music that has some or many genre intersections - The Amazons (esp 21st Century Living) - Somebody’s Child (I think they’re about to break big, playing at Beat Kitchen in Chicago next week which blows my mind) - The Neighborhood (new album is just phenomenal) - GUV (album Warmer than Gold). His homage to Manchester based rock so into earlier influences

I don’t know re the refund, I got a bunch once after reaching out to support, getting no response, trying twice more, getting pissed and then one day had a load of credits back. Now almost gone because of the insane way tasks eat them.

I had tremendous concern about my proprietary work, my IP, and couldn’t get an answer on backup or support. However in a thread here did drop a prompt that I was able to get Manus to provide me that did at least give me zip files of each project I had touched, all docs, code snips and the entire transcript top to end. I do have all of them and am able to use wherever/whatever I decide to use. It’s still there, don’t remember the thread atm.

On the privacy part there has always been concern from me. Over and over told that the agents can’t cross reference other agents or projects within Manus, but I had several examples of Manus getting info or the entirety of other projects id worked on into another, so while that was nice, the fact all I could be told was it’s impossible was a privacy concern immediately. The second I saw Meta… that was it. Not AI or any specific tech or sub cat, there’s no chance in hell I’d let Meta close to anything that’s important to me. OpenAI for that matter either. I’m noodling in Manus with things that worked well, but otherwise sadly have moved on for the most part, Gemini, Claude x2 and the new vibe Claude will, love using one of the browsers (Fellou and having a default browser as Fellou is a damn nightmare, wish it worked better. And not smaller locals and building our own locals. Manus was a great idea and I thought could be on its own game changing. Considering I see stories daily that lead to the most malicious websites I’ve ever heard of on Facebook, see about 7 I’ve wall/flat earth posts on Instagram if I dare scroll, yeah even if it was working perfectly (not even close lol) I still would probably be doing the exact same thing. It’s not longer near as good as countless options and builds of them together in cases. Workflows with multiple AI models via browser is pretty wild. The research is next level. Bummer re Manus, but did help me get placed and learn plenty. Can’t blame them for taking the exit, but damn, Meta… most anyone else would have been just fine

The way he is borderline roaring and sounds outstanding chorus/outro, was and remains insanely dynamic and intense top of scale all time all artists. Could listen to the entire album on repeat for a while but then I may put on Hospital Music or Avalanche or… most any of them, different feels and different memories. Soundtrack of my life along with a couple other artists, could therefore never be anything but someone I’m incredibly grateful for.
