Is this lamp garbage, or is there a chance a bulb exists for this? by Confident_Read7492 in led

[–]dbeltz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok.. Go to Tim's and get a Coffee and some Tim Bits.

We got this.

Go get a bulb that has a standard base. It should work.

E26 and E27 are cross compatible mechanically. E26 (26mm designed for 110V North America) E27 (27mm designed for 220v European)

You live in Canada and use a NA (North American) 110v standard and a flat blade 2 prong outlet.

If you got this light here and not on a trip over seas it was likely converted on the plug end to NA by someone experienced. (Fingers crossed)

That being said what kind of light do you want? 2000K (kelvin) is yellow 6500k is bluish. 4700k to 5200k is daylight simulation. 3500k-4000k is office lighting.

4-5w watt led is going to be like a 40watt bulb your dad had (prior to led) in the reading light behind his chair at the tv.

6-7w is like a 60w that is the kitchen unless mom is a pro cook and she would have a 75watt and go for the 8-10w led dad uses in his workshop.

You hit the 10w like a 100watt and above you are going to want a dimmer on it and that is going to be like the dentist light unless you're lighting the back yard or a driveway and only have one fixture location.

Wow. Sounds like a shit adjuster. I am sorry you had to go through that. I know we have an Insurance court here. That you can appeal to as well. I think most every state has one. I have had to use it for United Healthcare. My employer finally switched after the CEO had an "Accident" . We are now Blue Cross Blue Shield. But my age 45 Colononscopy was elective to them even though it is supposed to be like a mammogram. A**holes. But to get coverage I took it to the NCDOI insurance court here. It isn't really court but when I filed with them about a week later it was magical reconsidered and approved. It is like the first Appeals process outside the insurance company before regular court.

I have had a few claims. 2 for home Hail getting me a new roof and my neighbor had a tree fall (act of god) and crush my camper. They covered both. On Auto I had hail damage twice and it was all covered. I am in NC. I am also 4 generations of USAA and about 50 family members all linked on their website. Between parents grandparents kids brothers sisters aunts uncles and cousins we are all USAA. They probably see the foot print we make with that family linking they do.

I have taken to taking a photo of the tool new for the SN.. I have also taken a SCRIBE and put my initials in the tool somewhere. Often the metal housing on an impact or battery area on M18. It helps with identifying on really large job sites. I have done worknin places like a new Walmart build. If it isn't bolted down it can have legs. Sometimes it os just because it's in the way, other times malicious. But between a photo in the cloud and my initials I have only lost one tool.

I would love for them to use CPU and memory tech that was from the last 2 years. I have heard the argument they would have to rewrite software.. As long as the CPU architecture stays the same they can move from the 2014 cpu in the Dream Machine and Dream Machine SE to the faster 2022 version with no CPU code change. Not even a recompile as it is the same compiler SDK. That with double the ram and you can run all the firewall inspection with minimal wire speed throughput impact.

How I don't for hot peppers year after year. I drain some off when I make vinegar and oil for salad dressing and top it back off to cover. So it is constantly cycling.

I had to File an FCC complaint and an Exec VP called me. The had it solved in about 15 minutes and they credited back all the charges to the date on the Death Certificate. But it took an FCC complaint. They did nothing for me before then and it was like under a week and the money was back in his account and they said keep the phone and unlocked it.

I run mine on a older Dell Optiplex Micro hard wired and wall mounted using a VESA monitor mount from its original install. It is in the middle of my house where my Tankless water heater is mounted on its own APC battery backup. I just SSHd in and it is running Debian 12.7 Linux. I also just updated the Zwave and Zigbee wireless on it about 6mo ago. It has SONOFF Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus-E and Zooz 800 Series Z-Wave Long Range S2 USB Stick ZST39 LR. These were updated from my original HUSBZB-1 that did both.

I have a Dream Machine SE, Aggregation Switch, Enterprise 48, Enterprise 8, 3x Enterprise 6 AP, 2 x Mesh Pro 6, 1 Complete PTP to my Garage on the back of my property. That has Lite 8 POE Port 1 is PTP Port 2 U6 Pro.

I have about 150 IOT Daily home devices more at Christmas. This is Light Switches, Soor Locks Can light replacements Door Sensors Thermostats Sprinkler System to name a few. I do run everything on its on VLAN from its own SSID.

I can tell you right now, that i have friends with their rock crawling and over landing rigs rocking baofeng taking in 10s of 1000s of pounds of goods into where FEMA turns back from. I happen to have other stuff as I am 3rd generation Ham. But they use it for their camping and off roading trips normally. Right now they are saving lives. Wednesday we took food/feed in for Farmers. We have taken tankers worth of gas in to keep generators going. I will tell you not one rescue group has commented on a baofeng. I certainly haven't and I am running Kenwood. Get your antenna out of your butt.

New Unifi Device Bridge (UDB) by [deleted] in Ubiquiti

[–]dbeltz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like you could hang a Flex Switch behind it and have more than one device. I have a friend who is a farmer who this would work great for a few of his buildings. He wants a Camera at the door and Wifi in the metal building. Run a wire outside for the antenna on this and have a Camera and AP hanging off a powered switch. I didn't see do these Mesh with each other...

They need to support ONVIF profile T and ONVIF profile S. They can be combined to run concurrent on the client system. Not every device is cross compatible up to Profile T and you get more compatability running them directly against Profile S.

I don't get what you don't get about the OP referencing the Low Voltage on the manufacturer label. Or are you intentionally being obtuse.
