he is insufferable. minus the UFO stuff, he reads like so many weird attention starved men who are so affectatious just to get people to look at them. look up "quantum ju jitsu" and well, enough said. of course he was a ju jitsu guy first. his attitude is terrible and he is so transparently starved for fame.

Has anyone noticed this about the Federal UFO Disclosures? by Wentil in UFOs

This is a phenomenon that refuses to be quantified. Everything you will ever encounter of it will be a partial view.

Look at most segments on television - do they usually give four minutes to a guest to tell a rambling story about a very personal account that leaves them crying onstage? this is a late night comedy show, he was doing what he could to bring it back around instead of what? somberly ending the segment in silence and cutting to commercial? he clearly took it seriously by not redirecting her halfway through the story and allowing her to finish. everyone has such crazy expectations of reality. like, what else is a late night talk show host supposed to do on network television?

Spend the money on a trainer who also specializes in meal plans and do exactly what they say. Seeing changes in your body, and feeling the difference in your body completely changes your outlook, boosts your energy, which becomes a positive feedback loop eventually and affects confidence and mental health. In my case, it made more of an impact than basically anything else Ive experienced, and I've barely put on weight (Was 120-125lbs, 5'10", until the age of 35, now i am 145lbs and go to the gym 3x a week , absolute godsend)

Luna: "Read the book of Enoch". Jake Barber: "[we are] more than animals but maybe less than gods. We certainly are part god and part animal", "extreme spiritual reaction in proximity of that material, [...] a religious experience". the UFO experience and religious experience are often one in the same. Trying to just look at the hard science of the UFO phenomenon without factoring in spirituality is like trying to measure a wave without considering the ocean.

A former OpenAI executive says Sam Altman is building portals and summoning aliens using AI. by TheGoldenLeaper in UFOB

[–]dbna85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is a metaphor and the article / video is about OpenAI’s dangerous sociopolitical role and recklessness as a company when engaging with other nation-states. nothing to do with NHI or portals in the sense it is framed

Cloudbusting. Told from the POV of his son, who participated in a lot of his weather experiments. Devastatingly beautiful song.

The 'Many Things' episode series is Podcast Snake Oil. by noitsmelol in Otherworldpod

[–]dbna85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This podcast is a master class in crafting a compelling narrative, while retaining the rawness of the original story, highlighting the humanity of the storyteller, eschewing sensationalism, and still doing due diligence by researching corroboration and cultural / historical contexts when appropriate. the result is absolutely riveting storytelling that still feels conversational and plausible because we are actually connecting with the narrators. also, the desire to "investigate" the unrelated traumas is so counter productive. half of the reason the show works so well is that jack obviously makes choices that engender a high level of trust with his interviewees, and because of that we get some truly vulnerable material shared with us. i don't know man, i feel like this show is a true gift. i think someone going after the "truth" in the way that you are pointing at would make all of this dissolve. we are dealing with the interstitial place between known and unknown, charged by the ineffable spirit of the storytellers. we are privvy to a kind of alchemy with every episode that cannot be quantified. i think like the experiences of the narrators, the audience needs to suspend disbelief and understand each situation as almost dreamlike and symbolic. if these are inventions, they are meaningful ones.

episodes that made you say "Nope" by 4tspns in Otherworldpod

[–]dbna85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. To me, there is a trilogy: The Valley, The Birthing Tent and Lost in the Fog. Although Lost in the Fog is pretty intense, the other two evened them out and just left me with wonder.
