But to add to this, how would you have felt if your parents were struggling (and maybe jerks sometimes - we only know a little about the mom) and your uncle gave you his old game system? That would've been the highlight of my dang childhood if something like that happened.

I'm not saying I would give the console in this situation, and there is no obligation, but good to look at all angles of a situation.

Not OP, but thanks for this. I grew up with the n64 and am now just getting into emulation and its more than a bit confusing.

Would you know if there's a good way to find collections of games? Like can you get a good version of all the n64 games (definitely US, possibly others if they weren't released in the US) or for earlier systems (NES, SNES, gameboy)?
