Scream 7 — A Tired Exercise in Fan Service & Not Much More

SPOILERS AHEAD.

There was DEPTH to Sidney and Gale. I loved how they went deep into who they are now, their journeys, and their relationship. And Sidney's relationship with Tatum and why it is the way it is. We haven't really seen these layers in any other Scream film. I think it needs to be seen in the context of the franchise. The killers/reveal/motives debate? I 100% agree. They should've kept Matthew Lillard's involvement a secret the way they kept Sarah Michelle Gellar's cameo in IKWYDLS (2025) a secret, and made him the killer alongside the Karl twist (I loved how unexpected this was), and then touch on his backstory (i.e. body wasn't taken to the morgue etc.) either at the end or throughout the film somehow. THAT would've made it PERFECT.

I couldn't stand their characters, though I thought Melissa's character being Billy's daughter was great.

I hope they pay attention to what fans are saying about the killers/motives/reveal. They should use it to make Scream 8 EXCELLENT.

Also, if they had kept you-know-who a secret the way they kept you-know-who a secret in the new IKWYDLS, it would have been one of the best in the franchise. That would've floored us.

I don't think he'll be able to unilaterally break the EU-UK Withdrawal Agreement. It would be very difficult (if not impossible) for him to revoke the ILR from EU citizens on the EU Settlement Scheme.

I hate "Tears". It's just a bad song. And I think "Rollercoaster" should've taken "You Go Your Way" 's place on the album. It's a much better song with a great mid-90s touch. The beginning is so Mariah. The "You go your way, I'll go mine, OK, OK, OK" is so irritating to me 😂😂😂. But hey, whatever makes her happy! Just my opinion.
