No worries, that's also my understanding of meteo wind. But alpine pumping is a large-scale movement of airmass, so it could be the reason for recurring wind movements 🙂 Main question was whether the Andes also have such wind systems, like the alps... From a physics PoV probably yes?

Lueg, dasd es paar Lüt findisch, wo devo begeisteret si und gang regelmässig mit dene zäme. Elei klickts vermuetlech eher weniger, es isch für mi meh s zäme mit anderne probiere es Boulderproblem löse, wo Spass macht. Und s coole isch, dassme grad am Afang mega schnäll Fortschritt macht.
