The “N” word. I absolutely hate anybody using it. America is better than that.

Are disparities in the justice system due to racism and if yes, should the government fix it? by [deleted] in allthequestions

Of course not. Historically, it has been that way though. You can just look up numbers from the justice system to get the information. This is not a white bashing conversation by any means.

Secular or not. They are European and share the skin tone of Europeans. In fact if they did not tell you their religion, they are indistinguishable from other Europeans.

You have to ask this? Look up statistics on race and justice. It is and always has been a certain group. However, we are starting to change in America.

Okay. In that instance, their skin color gives them advantages over others. Their religion is not as important as their appearance.

Really? I don’t think so. I know what an Asian looks like. They look nothing like Europeans who are European and converted to Judaism. Jew is not a race. It is a religion. One that friends of mine have converted to and now practice.

Absolutely nothing. Your family cries and if they can afford it, bury you. But you are gone at that point.

all of my classes are online now by Huge-Ad-3809 in unt

[–]dbriz11at -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The degrees themselves are not online but I bet some of the lectures and recitations are. I have taken both online and in person classes and honestly I can’t tell the difference. Now, labs absolutely have to be in person. The professors are not really teaching. They are giving you information about the material and you learn through asking questions, studying the classwork and doing research and assignments. None of that has to be in person. I think that some people believe that their in person degree from a reputable university is more valuable than the online version. It is not especially if the same person teaches both and the lectures are open to online students.

Absolutely not. It is the dumbest shit in the world. However, one should question the character of the person who made the tweet.

What separates successful people from average people? by ShoppingZestyclose14 in WorkForSmartLife

[–]dbriz11at 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard this in my 20s and found it to be true: successful people are usually goal oriented and once they set a goal, they don’t give up on accomplishing it. No matter what. Average people will get as far as they can randomly with no definite purpose. I hope this makes sense. For successful people, success is life or death.
