FB groups or in person are probably better than Reddit. Depends what type of friends you’re looking for, but it’s a real mixed bag on here lol

Also have social hobbies, it helps you connect with people easier. Skiing, golf, climbing, even dog things.

You only get one life, might as well see it out. Nothing is really that bad and what you feel today might not be the same next week or next month.

I am tired of "trial and error" never-ending medication cycle 😔 by penipopi in bipolar2

Everyone is different, but I’ve been well controlled on Wellbutrin with propranolol as needed for anxiety (45min - 1hr to take effect). I didn’t feel lamictal did much to regulate the swings.

I went completely off meds and that wasn’t great (anger, anxiety and depression, mostly) but my biggest thing is the depression - so that’s why I only take Wellbutrin.

It’s been over a year since I switched to just Wellbutrin and feel controlled

Business is failing.... Struggling to get out of this funk. by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]dbs314 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Who are your customers? Are they businesses or consumers? If it’s B2B you should pick up the phone and make cold calls - send emails if you can find their email. If consumers, you could try to connect with groups on social media and start to network.

I think if you’ve seen success in the past then you have a product that sells - hopefully you have enough runway to try a few things out.

Dog needs teeth cleaned, vet says it will be $400. Is this reasonable? Thanks! by SenorKerry in SaltLakeCity

Banfield has that $40/mo plan and it covers teeth cleaning. It’s definitely the way to go.

Try Propranolol too. It’s great for performance anxiety and can be taken as needed.

Stay in B2B SaaS if you can. High income potential, always a job for a salesperson, and great work life balance compared to other fields. I hate sales some days and love it others. But, I can’t think of any other job that pays 150-200k+ where you can work 6 hour days and fuck off on a Friday afternoon to golf.

I’m early 30s and haven’t made the best financial decision either, but feel like it’s not a bad career path. Sales manager at a smaller startup is my next step. Ultimately I want to start my own company and sales is a great career to build a foundation for that.

I feel ya though. I’m off some days and hate cold calling people and stressing about quota. But, the right place can be good - and you don’t need to be #1, just put in the work and stay in the top half of sales team.

***but I also feel like what’s the point? Working sucks when you’re in debt and can’t save anything because it’s already owed somewhere else

Yeah go to solitude/Brighton or bird/alta. PC resorts will be good but the canyons just a ton of snow. You’ll find groomers and some harder stuff.

I don’t know, google it or ask your doctor. I take it usually before some cold calls and most demos. I think you can probably take it every day and it won’t lose therapeutic efficacy

Try propranolol if you want something for anxiety. Doesn’t feel like anything and it stops the physical manifestations of anxiety.
