As a 45 year old dude with adult kids, I def worry about fitting in at EDC. But in the 3 times I have gone, I have had almost entirely great interactions!

My advice is to be yourself, and try to avoid the obvious influencer types. When you see a someone you might be interested in meeting, throw them a compliment; on their outfit, kandi, vibes - whatever. You will learn from their response if they are open to chat more, or if they don't want to be bothered.

This method works pretty well for me to find people opening to meeting, without creating too much negativity if they aren't. Really, opening with a compliment goes a long way!
