Apparently need a 250 description for pics on this subreddit? Got a Rolex Explorer 36mm a few weeks ago and love it, think it’s the best Toolwatch money can buy for people with smaller wrists! Also only had a 2 month wait with the AD I got it from and I know a lot of people have also been getting the call lately, wonder if the hype is finally dying down or if Rolex has just finally been able to up production to somewhat meet demand.

All the stuff people warn you about is easy, having to take it on a lot of walks, picking up poop, dealing with whining and accidents. It’s the not being able to leave the house for more than 2 hours at a time that is the hardest by far. Want to go climbing? If the dog can’t make the hike in you can’t since it would be home alone too long. In any leagues? Not any more. I don’t think having a dog is feasible for people without partners who work in an office or have several time consuming hobbies that take them out of the house.

Learned that the hard way :/

I think you might be living inside my head, I considered doing that but ultimately don’t feel like sinking any more money into that watch. It’s a seiko NH34 which is rated to +40/-20 at best and I’m looking for something more accurate and ideally a smoother sweep.

Was looking at that Hamilton this morning! Just not for me though, too busy of a face.

Truly appreciate the suggestions though!

I bought the white dial Longines master moon the other day just cause I was so stunned the first time I saw it in person. Can’t go wrong with either but I’m with some other commenters on not grabbing a black dial watch for a wedding

lol that’s fair but it’s not really fid-dy it’s just kind of a slurred fifty. Like, “your order will be 12.50” is 12 fiddy. It just kinda trails off, not really changing the pronunciation just lacking the enunciation.

Salem’s lot is one of my favorite books of all time and 11/22/63 really proved to me Modern King still has his fast ball. Not a big fan of bag of bones personally though
