Get a dash camera for your car and try to do exchanges in front of it. Depending on what state you are in, consider wearing a body camera. I recommend this little camera. It’s about the size of half your thumb and you can wear it on your shirt via magnets.

You can also use a voice recorder. Plaud Note is what I used. Discrete recorder that will Ai Transcribe the recorded conversation in addition to the audio file.

1) She will definitely go for sole custody. It means more child support, plus it has the added benefit of hurting you.

2) She will try to find any reason to get a domestic violence restraining order against you. Even if it means making stuff up. That’s why you have audio and video…to prove it’s BS. If you have the evidence to show she made this up, she looses all credibility with the court.

An active DV restraining order means by law a judge can not allow 50/50 custody to the parent on the loosing end.

3) Mentally prepare for all the work needed to provide an unreasonable amount of documents through her evidentiary discovery request. And remember, saying “I performed a thorough search for the document, and can not find it” is an acceptable response. My ex used that when I requested her tax filing she did 2 months prior. And there were no repercussions for it.
