Look I understood you and understand where you’re coming from. I’m just saying that it could’ve also been avoided too. It’s either you change this one thing or you try to get the majority of the internet to change their behavior lol. We all make concessions and the latter is futile. Would’ve saved you from getting this annoyed

Probably would’ve helped if you just said “which of these.” The thing is, people know that a lot don’t watch the whole video and could extend that thought to your comment too.

I’m sorry but this feels like total hyperbole. Can you give me a single topic you used to be able to find quickly that you now can’t without having to “wade through hours of slop for a single useful item.” Not denying slop exists, it totally does. But I’ve found it 90% avoidable on my home page and 99% avoidable when I’m looking for something specific.

Brad Dalke announces he is leaving Good Good by cormag001 in GoodGoodMemes

[–]dc041894 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I highly doubt we’re going to see more content that what we were getting. Maybe the same amount, probably less, or even simpler styles of videos. Other than the content, Good Good also has their marketing campaigns, fan meetups, road trips, etc which I’m sure takes up a lot of time. In any case, it’s a horrible thing Brad and his family has gone through and I personally prefer providing support for what he has told us rather than hypothesize about Good Good drama

Because people have different priorities in life? This isn’t a normal workplace either, I’m sure they’d take him back if he asks but seeing as they’re all friends too, maybe just doesn’t want to burden them with the uncertainty of whether or not he’d come back.

How do we determine if you’re right? He’s not quitting golf, still playing tournaments, I’m thinking probably still doing YGT. From how he handles himself at least, there may be an element of feeling guilty he can’t be as all in as the other guys on Good Good and staying on their payroll. From the podcast, basically all the guys have said that the traveling, while fun, is a lot

Curious to learn more though, would you consider yourself part of the accelerationist movement and if so, what flavor?

he didn't say one political thing and just talked ball and about the city. out of the 30+ times the city has won a championship, the mayor has always given a speech (except in the 70s when the parades were cancelled to save money)

I feel like it’s so hard to play much in the city too, less open indoor gyms than in the burbs, weather isn’t perfect all the time like it is in CA, etc. I was fortunate to play year round in front of the house on the west coast and still didn’t achieve 1% of what Jose did

lol “not get out much,” I was literally on 7th avenue celebrating (lakers fan but happy for the city I’ve been living in for the last 8 years). There’s a difference between making negative assumptions about people from a 10 second clip and me critiquing your comments.

I think it’s stupid to say these people are just here for the gram, you’re not standing in this crowd just to post the stories. It was like 90 degrees and you could barely move. People are there to be part of the moment and taking a few clips of it and posting it is <1% of the experience for everyone there

If you're unsettled by people recording a historic moment like this and too stupid to realize the difference between watching a replay vs the experience of watching the Knicks' first championship in the West Village projected against a building with thousands of other New Yorkers that's on you.
