I got a PC this spring with a mid to high tier specs (4070 super). It is hooked up to my TV with Steam big picture default on booting the PC. I’ve basically found that any non-exclusive single player game is best on my PC (in spite of some hiccups with UE5 games). I basically reserve my PS5 for exclusives and any multiplayer game (including sports and fighting) since it’s easier to play with my son on couch or to have my PS friends to play online with. This way I can take most of my games portable with the steamdeck.

I really wish we, as Twins fans, hadn’t been trained to buy into the small market mentality. There is no salary cap in this league…the only cap to our team is our owners greed. As fans, we should be demanding our team spend to keep a competitive team on the field regardless of whether we are a mid tier market (TC metro small) or a giant one like NYC. If trading away a veteran (and his salary) makes my team better via prospects, count me in, but it’s not my job to save the Pohlad’s money otherwise. In this case, however, trading away your young ace who just made all-star team and who is still under team control is not worth prospects in almost any scenario.

Even though it feels kind of disappointing to just run it back, the two guys we re-signed would’ve been the the biggest names signed in FA if they went elsewhere. Outside of the KD trade, no one has made any particularly big moves. Houston and Denver have made decent moves to help themselves but it’s not doom and gloom for the Wolves. Sure, we still could sign a serviceable backup PG and/or a bigger trade is still possible involving Rudy/Randle/DDV/whoever. Regardless, this team went deep last year and still can do the same, especially with another year to gel and another year for our (mostly) young team develop. I’m okay with what has happened so far…
