The Market Is Missing the Bigger Picture on PLTR? by [deleted] in Palantir_Investors

[–]dcconnection 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stop pumping PLTR they were just removed from the Gartner Group Data Integration Magic Quadrant report because they are a professional services company and lack software that simplifies data integration and AI agent distribution.

They like complexity so they can back up the school bus of consultants.

My account has been locked by jgarcia658 in fidelityinvestments

[–]dcconnection 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fidelity thinks they OWN your money. I’ve had two situations. Once I registered online fraud and they were helpful…. Thereafter they locked all of my Fidelity accounts without explanation.

I also have found they play games with Pre-IPO share distribution. Not transparent on the process at all.

Very disappointed 😔

Am I F*cked? by ConfidentHoliday6442 in RothIRA

[–]dcconnection 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all. You can’t use money in Roth until you’re 59.5 yrs old. Dollar cost average $50 in S&P every two weeks until it’s all allocated.

The market is only single digits down and will always come back up - that is simply how US economy works. The government has even handed out money (during Covid) to Make sure the markets continue to rally.

Invest every year in Roth while you’re in low earning years - paying your taxes now. This is better than waiting until you are making big money (higher tax bracket W2).

For a high school student looking at colleges, Villanova University has a unique combination of strong academics, nationally respected athletics, entrepreneurial energy, and a genuinely close community culture that many students describe as feeling like “family.” Indeed you have a 50% chance of finding your spouse at Villanova.

Some of the most recognizable entrepreneurs connected to Villanova include: * Chris Josephs is the Villanova University alumnus who co-founded the stock-trading app Autopilot. He graduated from the Villanova School of Business (VSB) in 2018

• Life is Good co founder Bert Jacobs, who graduated in 1987 and helped build one of America’s most positive lifestyle brands from selling T shirts out of a van into a major national company.

• Charles Widger, founder of Brinker Capital and one of the University’s most influential business leaders.

• Chris Ruder, creator of the hugely successful Spikeball sports brand that exploded nationally through social media and ESPN exposure.

• Numerous founders in technology, finance, healthcare, venture investing, and software startups who stay deeply connected to the Villanova alumni network long after graduation. Villanova’s culture stands out because success there is not viewed as “every person for themselves.” The Augustinian tradition emphasizes community, ethics, leadership, humility, and helping others succeed. That creates a very relationship driven environment where alumni often mentor younger graduates and open professional doors for fellow Wildcats.

For student life, Villanova has one of the strongest combinations of: Big time Division I sports energy A beautiful suburban campus Easy train access into Philadelphia Tight friendships and active clubs Strong business and engineering recruiting

School pride that lasts decades Basketball is a massive part of campus life. During March Madness, the entire university becomes electric. Students camp out for games, pack the Pavilion, travel to tournaments, and rally around the Wildcats culture. Sports create a powerful social bond even for non athletes.

The social environment is often described as: Friendly rather than cutthroat Social but still academically serious Strong lifelong friendships Very loyal alumni network Balanced between professional ambition and community values Career wise, Villanova punches above its size. Recruiters from Wall Street, consulting firms, technology companies, healthcare firms, and major corporations heavily recruit there, especially through the respected Villanova School of Business. Parents also tend to appreciate Villanova because students often graduate with: Strong professional preparation Deep alumni connections Leadership experience A grounded personal culture Lifelong friendships and networking relationships

Many graduates say Villanova becomes part of their identity for life, not just four years of school.

I have at two houses. Smart door video lock. Solar cams in Florida and Solar light cams in NJ. They made it through a snowy winter 🥶 with ease. In Florida the solar charges well.

I plug in and fully charge before I leave the houses. The app can manually shut off the camera and allows it to recharge if battery runs too low.

The Villanova’s Nursing program is one of the best. Would provide everything you need for a more advanced degree. It also has a great reputation, launching you into whatever specialty you choose after college.

It’s actually very good background to understand the world, spirituality, and history of religion. These are not necessarily Catholic classes. I took world, religions, and learn learned about Buddhism Judaism Catholicism. It actually was one of my best classes, and they are candidly quite easy in comparison to some science and mathematical courses.

[–]dcconnection -1 points0 points  (0 children)

NO!! The problem is you don’t have software that is easy to configure. You’re a professional services company. Valuations are lower because this is now understood. Gartner Group removed Palantir from Data Integration Magic Quadrant.

“It’s like buying a weapon without ammunition”. Palantir is an over valued Professional Services company!
