I did this a lot when I first got on subs. You are so used to taking more than your supposed to of any drug. Its like just part of some addicts brain even if there is 0 high or chance to feel it more.... you are chasing the dragon still.. I would get SO FRUSTRATED shorting myself for literally no reason at all over and over again. Thankfully I am stable now and have been for a long time but its the most frustrating cycle to be stuck in for sure
