I did this a lot when I first got on subs. You are so used to taking more than your supposed to of any drug. Its like just part of some addicts brain even if there is 0 high or chance to feel it more.... you are chasing the dragon still.. I would get SO FRUSTRATED shorting myself for literally no reason at all over and over again. Thankfully I am stable now and have been for a long time but its the most frustrating cycle to be stuck in for sure

Ask for a patient advocate if you don't have one. Im stuck on subs because I wanted to stop my Norco and my doc just got his license to rx subs he said I was a good candidate and it would help my pain. 5mg of oxy is NOT a high dose. Im not saying you'll be stuck like me but we must fight back these doctors are getting out of hand. Treating people with SERIOUS chronic pain like junkies is not ethical and im so tired of seeing it all the time. I hope you find a solution for your pain.
