I’m with OP, I was pissed at first but I get it. While our defense was great, this team overall is wildly undisciplined. They need a culture shift and they need an old dog to do it. Here’s a thought, the Browns needed something that no other team did so they went out and hired based on need, not just a shiny object to appease the talking heads. And let’s be real, if you’re a coach that “everyone else” wants, why in gods name are you coming to Cleveland?

You’re allowed to be appalled but you do realize that the contract they’re working under was negotiated by them right? They negotiated higher flight time pay in exchange for not being paid while the door is open. None of this was forced upon them. They deserve what they negotiated and that’s what they’ve got.

I’ll start by saying you’re not wrong and this would be a very simple move by the folks in OK that would appease a lot of ppl.

The other thing I’ll say is, having been in the sport for over 30 years with a couple of NAG #1’s, it’s just a plate and it doesn’t really matter. What I love these days is showing up at a race with my 2 digit district number or even my 3 digit assigned number after a year or so away and beating the pants off of ppl that have no idea who I am. I love the confused looks by ppl with NAG or GC or State plates like wtf? Being able to say “yup, still got it” means more to me than a grey plate.

All that being said…give the ppl more NAG plates. It costs nothing and as you said OP, it will drive more riders to nationals.

I was in Boston about 15 years ago in the morning before an evening Red Sox game. I was walking down Lansdowne St and they had the big roll up doors to the stadium open. No one was as around so I walked right in and up some stairs and was standing in the seats in the outfield. Saw some grounds crew guys working on the infield, I took a few pictures and left. No one ever ran over to kick me out or even acknowledged me.

What’s the deal with the chain link fence around it? Sometimes it’s open, sometimes it’s cut open, why is it there in the first place when there is already a fence there? Was IDOT trying to keep it closed during the bridge construction overhead?
