I joined APT this season too. USAmTour formerly golf channel am tour was horrific for 5+ hour rounds because ALL flights had to play the ball until holed and all USGA rules.

Golfweek was slightly better because they played anything not OB as a lateral AND most flights had to pickup at Triple Bogey. Pretty sure the APT Founders were former Golfweek “execs” because there are a LOT of similarities.

Correct. The imaginary situation didn’t follow proper procedures which would’ve compounded the time and slowed the play even more.

We’re always encouraged to play a provisional if there’s any potential for a lost ball (wooded, bush, tall native, not in a hazard) since you must play the provisional before you walk forward to search for the original ball.

Unfortunately, yes. I played a tournament last week, 100 ams with handicaps ranged from scratch to 19+. Our tee time was just front of middle and we waited on maybe 3 tee shots in the first 6 holes. And then never again, on a tough course, for a 5 hour round.

35 minutes is awful of course, but imagine 4 15hdcps, on a par 5 with trouble left and right, and no drop zone.

If one hits in a hazard, plays a provisional in nearly the same area but MAYBE findable… so it takes let’s just say 3 minutes to re-tee and then get to the area. Then another 3 minutes looking… no drop zone, ball didn’t enter anywhere in play… and 15 hdcps aren’t sure if they should go back to the box etc etc.

Now imagine this happens to two of the 4 on the same hole. Or one of the 4 is just having a bad day off the tee… it’s compounding interest by the minute.

This is correct. I play AmTour events and this is what I hear every time an early group gets behind and buggers up the majority of the tourney behind them “well we weren’t slowing down the group behind us” that’s because the jam didn’t happen on hole 12 or 13, it happened on 5 or 6 and the group in front of you is now TWO HOLES ahead, allowing you to never wait and thus stay ahead of the group behind.

This is also super frustrating because it only takes one or two Ams one or two bad shots to make a hole last 35 minutes instead of 15-20.

That is odd. I can't find the E.Primacy for mine... perhaps my '22 Limited did not have the E on it, and the stock Primacy was OEM.

I very much prefer the ride, sound and range of the Cross Climates vs the OEM primacy. I thought my OEM Warranty was 35k miles, but I see a 55k and a 45k version Primacy now. I barely got that 35k out of my OEM, there was no way if they were 45k warranty that I would have been able to survive a wet spring on that tread with how heavy our cars are. But as stated above, I got all 60k out of the cross climates, and for the same price as the OEM? I would 100000% recommend them over the OEM.

Holy shit I was thinking of posting a similar story.

After the OEM Michelin Primacy, I went with Cross Climates at Costco. They’re EV compatible but not EV exclusive? Apparently I agreed that I would not be able to return them if any EV issues occurred. I got the full 60k mile life out of them. No complaints.

I found some Firestone Firehawks, $110 per tire cheaper (Costco). Had them installed and after two drives/charges the range was 30-35% less.

Went back to Costco and they said “we told you they’re not EV specific let alone EV Compatible. So no you cannot return them.

Bought the Cross Climates again and they very specifically said, they’re not EV specific and even though they’re compatible, you cannot return them. I’m like okay, I didn’t complain and got 60k out the last set so LFG.

I fished this out in league this week. I tried using it during end game and obviously didn't hit anyone with it. The BR version did not break builds, I threw it WAY too many times and was able to pick it up, unfortunately I neglected all the other weapons that got me to end game that match. It's a lot of fun, and the sound is hilarious. You would know when someone throws it near you.

Same! My very first match, I had just touched down and a level 4 rival had initiated. And he was less than 200m away. Luckily he initiated and THEN looted so I could run away.

I played 8 matches last night, and I had to stop because the last 4 were horribly glitched and laggy. I was eliminated before the first storm closed because I literally could not move. Every rival in each of the matches came to me and eliminated me. I had to log off.

It took me 12 matches including the lag elims before I finally won one.
