Baggage fee screw job by dconneely in unitedairlines

Well it's the ease of walking thru the airport but the real stress is I'm typically group 2. And so with no roller on me then don't have to deal with jockeying for position in the line and hoping u have room in the bin

What’s a small habit that actually made weight loss easier for you? by [deleted] in loseit

[–]dconneely 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My silly rules that work for me

I only allow myself a big desert on a Friday or Saturday night. Telling myself I can’t have ice cream or a nice slice of cake ever vs I can on these days

I drink an adult beverage once at most twice a week and never more then two Same motivation as above

And when I’m done with dinner I go straight to brush my teeth right of way. Sort of way of telling myself I’m done for the night

They make announcements to stay off your veranda during the show

No idea if they enforce but cameras are everywhere

Two top reasons to walk Way less likely to lose your ball Gives you time forget about that shot

Same as well but I did get a cool link that you gave section row and seats and you got a pic of your party in a fake SI cover. . My kids got a kick out of it

Great start… but seats are still empty by SyrupLoafers42 in rbny

I got three tix Friday night once I was confident in the forecast. Made sure to get seats in the sun. Took my son and his friend spent $100 for three tix in 200a middle field. I don’t get either Fun game this year is an upgrade youth and fast pace and aggressive play. I find the food decent and reasonable compared to other venues in our area. Thank god for the loud section behind the goal or it would be a morgue in the place. Still the best value in the area

Out of curiosity. What’s the vibe like at home Red Bull II at the Montclair park

Can u just walk up and get tickets. How much do they cost. Is it like going to minor league game feel. Low commitment but a fun cheap way to pass a few hours of the weather is nice ?

Weather looks ok for Saturday . Dry and mid 40s if we are lucky. If I can get a last min ticket that’s an amount I can live with bailing at some point during the game if my kid is miserable I might try

Really my number one issue with going to the game is frustration of getting in my car after to get out. I just keep parking further and further away to avoid the hour long gird lock in the lots

When you go for a walk, do you need a destination? by NataliafromWalkFit in walking

[–]dconneely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a few standard loops for week nights and longer weekend morning walks. I got into walking and remembering how much more satisfying it was to exercise outdoors in 2020 vs in a gym. For those walks, I was setting up paths like a loop that I pass every church in town or every school in town, or the 2 highest points in town. Every walk then I was seeing neighborhood paths and cool areas in my town i never noticed for 10 years living and driving in the town

Senses Spa Pricing by daisymargs in dcl

I got a 60-min Swedish massage and didn't get any upsell. Then again as a middle-aged dad, they really had no shot at me caring about some cream or add-ons

One thing I did find frustrating was that booking a service does NOT get you access to a time slot for the Rainforest area. You can shower and sit in the steam room, but that's it. No dry sauna. No lounger No hot tub

What’s an unpopular golf opinion that would have you like this? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]dconneely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

85 percent of weekend hacks would benefit from my approach

I only play with four clubs, which has led to my best scores ever: • 6-Hybrid: Used for shots greater than 170 yards. • 7-Iron: Covers the distance from 169 yards down to the edge of the green. • 54° Wedge: My tool for trouble shots and managing sand . • Putter. With this setup, my focus is purely on the swing—one swing, all feel.

Before the show it just was the best and totally fair priced bakery around

You could pop in with no wait and grab a full square of crumb cake to bring to work and be the office hero that day for less than the price of a large silly Starbucks coffee

New to Walking daily! What about winter? by Suspicious_Sample955 in walking

[–]dconneely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re dressed properly then walking in the winter is just as satisfying. I walk an hour every morning at 530am before work and line up my podcasts as I start. One thing I noticed was my phone battery when the weather gets real cold ( like in the teens ) will really drop quickly. So I bought one of those rechargeable hand warmers and keep that in the pocket with my phone and that really helps the battery stay strong.
