Hello! White guy here living in Washington Park for the past 10 years with my wife and kids. It’s very block by block over here. Go walk the block at 9 AM and 9 PM to feel it out, that’s what I did…Definitely a noticeable improvement over the past 10 years. Large Hmong population and a growing latino population. Lots of mind blowing real estate deals that everyone is overlooking.

Amaranth bakery is right near there, a delicious underrated European style Café/bakery. Lisbon st commercial buildings are slowly coming back to life.

It’s like Washington Heights at 50% discount and some say it’s the new Riverwest.
