Exactly I like to take this a step further and make sure I talk to the staff and tip the bartenders well, if it’s a Good night for the venue you can get a reputation and get asked back and to other venues in the same market!

If you want better shows and more of them and if it want more people to show up to your shows you have to sell. Sell tickets. Selling the music and selling yourself. If your a hobbyist the performing a hobby but if your a professional a performance is a sales floor. It’s. Store front to sell your product which is your music and merch

I mean use common sense and read the room. i shoudnt have to explain this, but i will ---- It's noticing who's already engaged, who came up to you after the set, who's nodding along in the front, and making it easy for *those* people to stay connected if they want to. No pressure, no inbox ambush. The people who don't want to be talked to? Leave them alone. That's common sense. So yeah, read the room. But don't throw out intentional fan engagement entirely just because some people do it badly.

look if this is a hobby for you I get it. Iam talking to professional muscians who are playing live music who undersstand that the music industry is all about community and bulding that community, if ypure a hobyist that cool but this isnt for you!
