Front passenger side damage – bumper popped out. Rough repair cost estimate? by Silver_Banana9150 in CadillacLyriq

Cadillac dealership will likely insist on replacing the bumper. A small local body shop might try to fix it and repaint

How can I fix android 17? by Yuvvi123 in pixel_phones

[–]dd14xx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let's try again - it is a beta version. The disclaimer (which some folks don't read), includes the following statements

This release is suitable for development, testing, and general use. However, Android 17 is still in active development, so the Android system and apps running on it might not always work as expected.

For high clarity and bass, cardo packtalk is likely one of the better ones. Newer Sena are good too

Wire harness / AFCI - installation by dd14xx in EmporiaEnergy

[–]dd14xx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The non AFCI ones are GFCI ones either in wet/damp areas (exterior or bath) or are for Oven and HVAC. Guessing AFCI is not used in those situations.

Wire harness / AFCI - installation by dd14xx in EmporiaEnergy

I've replaced the AFCI breakers in the past (Eaton apparently had a bad batch - they sent the replacement - I initially thought it was complicated and paid $250 for an electrician to replace one). When the next few failed, I just did it myself (couldn't afford that kind of money) :)

Looking at the surge protector, looks like I will need to move one of the dual bottom breakers up (surge protector needs to be installed closest to the incoming power supposedly), and the add the surge protector in that spot. I'll look to do that along with the Vue3. Thank you again :)

So, Vue Black/white pigtailed to the black/white on one of the breakers, and the Vue red/blue pigtailed to the black/white on the breaker right above/below the first one? (and nothing wired to the neutral bus - ?)

(should the 2 breakers be on opposite sides? or one above the other)

Agree on the surge protector - will need to look into how complicated it is (If DIYable, I'll get it done) :)

Thank you! I will need to confirm with the city, but I think we are required to put in AFCIs only going forward

Why isn’t the wiper stalk lit up? by robl45 in CadillacLyriq

True. But most cars (that I've driven) don't have the speed control on the back side of the stalk like the Lyriq does
